Antilock/traction Control/electronic Limited Slip Abs Warning Light problems of the 2010 Lincoln MKZ

The contact owns a 2010 Lincoln Mkz. The contact stated that upon starting the vehicle, the abs and the traction control warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed that the abs had failed and needed to be replaced. The local dealer was contacted, but the vehicle was not diagnosed and the contact was advised that the VIN was not included in a recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 110,000.
