While the vehicle was parked on a decline in a parking lot the vehicle rolled out of the parking lot into the street and crashed into another vehicle that was at a traffic light. Slight damage was done to the other vehicle. The contact stated that when the vehicle was shifted into park gear the vehicle would not move. To prevent the vehicle from rolling, the emergency brake was engaged. A police report was filed. There were no injuries. The vehicle was not repaired. The pre-owned vehicle was purchased on November 8, 2003. She referenced recall 97v171000, power train:automatic transmission:gear position indication (prndl) and was advised by the manufacturer that the recall work had already been performed. The contact stated that she opened a case with the manufacturer. The failure and current mileages were 163,000.

While driving vehicle stalled four times on the highway. Also, vehicle had problems with getting the gear out of park. Contacted the dealer. The problem recurred.
