Heated/cool seat module burning, ignition coil, 4x4 (4-wheel drive system) , windshield wiper motor linkage transmission , engine light came on , heated heat stopped working , changed entire 4x4 system and it still goes into 4 wheel drive by itself.

2 Ignition Coils Failure problem of the 1998 Lincoln Navigator

Failure Date: 03/07/2005

While driving at approximately 65 mph there was a loud bang coming from the engine area. Also, the engine began to lose power. Driver coasted to the shoulder and applied the brakes. Driver got out of the vehicle and lifted the hood. It was discovered that the 3rd cylinder spark plug blew out of the top of the engine, ripping the cable and the electronic ignition coil. Owner had the vehicle towed back to the dealership.
