1 Rear Seat Belt problem of the 2003 Lincoln Navigator

Failure Date: 06/03/2006

My car is 2003 Lincoln Navigator. One of the 2nd row seat (behind the driver side) has a defective seat belt (the connector is in the wrong direction, so I need to twist the seat belt in order to secure the seat belt). I have brought my car to the dealer (still under warranty) and the dealer stated that it is normal and it is on other Navigator too. The dealer refused to fix the twisted seat belt.

2 Rear Seat Belt problem of the 2001 Lincoln Navigator

Failure Date: 04/15/2006

2001 Lincoln Navigator: passenger attempted to buckle up in the seat directly behind the driver's seat and found that the seat belt (seat belt in this position is rarely used) was unusable--unlatch button was stuck in the depressed position. No crash or injury was involved. A butter knife was used to raise the latch to secure the seat belt. Once the release button is depressed to release the belt, it remains in the depressed position.
