7 Structure problem of the 2014 Mazda CX-5

Failure Date: 06/01/2014

My car was parked in a driveway for a couple minutes after be driven for 30 minutes with the a/c on. The windshield was not in direct sunlight. When I sprayed the top of the car with a small amount of water the windshield cracked from the middle of the top and made three cracks down about 12-16 inches long each. I have done this with many cars that have sat in direct sunlight longer than this one was sitting there and never had this issue before. Then when I went to get my replacement, after waiting 2 weeks, the dealership informed the place I was getting it done that it had arrived broken to their facility and it would be another week before I could get another one. Even the worker at the glass place said that these windshields are extremely thin. There is obviously a huge problem if even the dealership can't shift it without it getting broken.
