Air Bag Not Deploy Problems of Mazda Protege - part 2

I bought a formerly wrecked car with frontal damage. The airbags had not deployed. I noticed the problem on other 99 Proteges and thought I should report it. There seems to be a possible defect in the airbag deployment.

Vehicle was involved in a frontal collision at an impact of 40 mph in which both air bags failed to deploy. Dealer notified.

Consumer had a rear collision, and air bags did not deploy. Passenger hit head on windshield. The seat belt failed during the collision.

My main complaint is the airbags. The accident was serious enough to crack the casing under the bumper. Why did the airbag not deploy? please provide me with information!!!.

While driving at aprroximately 50 mph ,driver hit another vehicle head-on ,and dual airbags did not deploy, causing injuries. No warning of airbags being inoperative.

Consumer had an accident, and air bag did not deploy. In addition, on a 15 mph impact, both hood hinges separated from vehicle and hit windshield.

Abs: when applied, brake pedal went to floor, vehicle rearended another vehicle, airbags did not deploy. Dealer replaced rotors/pads. Also, shoulder/lap belts did not hold occupants. Please provide VIN.

1) airbag didnt deploy during a right angle (t bone) accident at an intersection . . The driver (me) systained head and face / chest injuries. 2) since new the right rear brake on my non abs car lockes up very easily, and has caused a spin out in several cases, on wet surfaces. A dealer tried to do something, but it has not corrected the problem. Further, when I wrote Mazda customer service hq, they simply said to go back to a dealer for their judgement / action to correct the problem.

Vehicle was involved in a frontal collision at 45 mph and the airbags did not deploy. The manufacturer has been notified about the incident.

Consumer was pulling out of driveway and she was struck by a vehicle on left front corner. Upon impact, dual airbags did not deploy, causing serious injuries.

Consumer states while traveling 30 mph and as a result of a head on crash air bags did not deploy at any time.

While driving experienced suddenly cv joint failure when it broke in steering column, causing loss of steering control, hit telephone pole; also, upon impact dual airbags failed to deploy, 2:00 on front bumper, driver's seat shoulder harness failed to retract enough.

While traveling and as a result of an accident air bag did not deploy. No injury to consumer. Manufacturer has been contacted. Please provide further informaton.
