Door Hinge problems of the 2002 Mazda Tribute
Three problems related to door hinge have been reported for the 2002 Mazda Tribute.

Drivers side door handle broke, will not open from the inside. This is the second time this has happened.

Driver side interior door handle on 2002 Mazda Tribute is inoperable. Failed after vehicle was parked and driver was attempting to open door. Is a safety hazard if quick egress is required. Currently searching on-line to find replacement part.

Both the inside handles of my 2002 Mazda Tribute have malfunctioned causing extreme difficult in getting out of the vehicle. This could result in a very dangerous situation in the case of an accident or fire along with various other incidents. It is my understanding from internet searching that this is a common problem, however, I have never heard of other vehicles having this problem.
