Four problems related to structure have been reported for the 2002 Mazda Tribute.
Structure problem
1 Driver's door can no longer be opened from the inside. The interior handle no longer actuates the latch. One has to roll down the window and use the exterior handle. In the event of an emergency, this could be a safety issue - especially with electric windows. It is my understanding that this can only be fixed by replacing the interior handle unit where a plastic part has broken.
Structure problem
2 Interior door handle failure.
Structure problem
3 Day before incident an oil change was done. The following day it rained and water entered the front passenger side of the vehicle. Nlm.

4 Consumer states that front two doors have a lot of wind noise at about 25 mph. Dealer inspected door seals and adjusted. Found normal wind noise. The seal between the windshield and the dash is coming out. Dealer stated should have been removed during pdi and removed seal.
