I received a recall notice in January 2019 to replace my passenger side airbag module as the defect may cause the airbag to explode. The NHTSA recall number is 19v010. I have called the local dealership numerous times and they still do not have the parts available. Please advise.
Takata recall - my car was recalled a year ago for passenger side airbag issue that can result in �death or injury�. A year later mercedes says a fix is still not ready to fix the recall. I'm scared that I can't trust the safety of my car in an accident. How can mercedes get away with taking so long? how can no remedy be ready yet when my Toyota was fixed years ago? please put pressure on mercedes. This is rediculous.
Takata recall it has been two years and the passenger-side airbag is still not available for my car. I have contacted my dealer several times about when this part would be available. Was told it would be available by December, 2018. Still not available and I am afraid to drive it often for fear that it will rupture. At 74 years of age I thought I was buying a safe dependable car.
Takata recall mercedes sent out a recall notice for the passenger side airbag but claims they do not have replacement for it in stock and doesn't know when they're getting them.
"takata recall" the vehicle was purchased in August of 2014 and I received my first notice regarding airbag replacement in late 2016. I have contacted my local dealer several times with no satisfaction from them. They tell me the same story each time I call or show up in person, you will be notified when we have a airbag for your vehicle. This is the passenger side airbag and it offers no protection to my passengers in the event of a crash. Can you help?.
