A recall was issued Jan 2019 for the passenger side airbag. It is now April 2020 and all I have heard is that there is no remedy available. How long is a reasonable amount of time to wait for the parts to be available?.

Tl- the contact owns a 2014 Mercedes Benz C250. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 17v627000 (air bag) and (passenger side air bags) however, the parts needed for the repair were not available. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that the air bag warning remained illuminated. The contact was concerned for the safety of both her daughter and her self that the air bag might deploy and called Mercedes Benz of pembroke pine dealer at (954) 644-5035, located at 14199 pines blvd, pembroke pines, FL 33027, and it was informed parts were not available for the repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The approximate failure mileage was 48,000. Part distribution disconnect campaign number: 17v627000 (air bag) and VIN tool confirms part not available. Passenger side air bag. Aw.

I received a recall notice in January 2019 to replace my passenger side airbag module as the defect may cause the airbag to explode. The NHTSA recall number is 19v010. I have called the local dealership numerous times and they still do not have the parts available. Please advise.

Takata recall: I was informed about this recall regarding passenger side air bag last fall 2017. As of today 6/18/18 no repair has been made. I feel very endangered while driving in my car. Takata recall - my car was recalled a year ago for passenger side airbag issue that can result in �death or injury�. A year later mercedes says a fix is still not ready to fix the recall. I'm scared that I can't trust the safety of my car in an accident. Takata recall it has been two years and the passenger-side airbag is still not available for my car. I have contacted my dealer several times about when this part would be available. Was told it would be available by December, 2018. Still not available and I am afraid to drive it often for fear that it will rupture. At 74 years of age I thought I was buying a safe dependable car.
