" and the expected date of when "replacement parts [are] expecte to be available" has changed multiple times, each time extending that date; the last letter I received says "by June 30, 2018. " the letter I received just last month says "before March 31, 2018. " I am in florida. Everything I read says florida should be in a high priority group due to humidity. What is really going on? what sanctions have been imposed on manufacturers who are replacing airbags only on the vehicles they are trying to sell, as this is what the mercedes dealership in jacksonville, FL is doing?.

Takata recall there has been an outstanding recall on my vehicle since 2016 which states if involved in a crash metal fragments may come through the airbag and inflict serious bodily injury on the driver and/or the passenger. No specific date of injury, are they waiting for an injury to occur? takata is going bankrupt, their website provides a airbag replacement link which sends us to the dealerships whom refuse to replace the airbags. They have had this same excuse ever since I learned of the defect.
Takata recall - I keep calling the local Mercedes Benz of alexandria and Mercedes Benz USA, for over 1 year and a half, they keep telling me that parts are available to replace the existing driver and passengers air bags. It is almost 2 years with the recall and still no parts available to correct the recall. I am not comfortable driving the vehicle fearing getting injured do to a malfunction. It is unfair to put drivers and passengers in such a great risk and fear. Also, I have another 2012 glk Mercedes Benz I am unable to sell since the recall was issued, as purchasers turn away when they learn of the recall. Have received communications from Mercedes Benz, beginning may 2016, stating problem with air bags which could cause injury and even death. Have called Mercedes Benz u. S. A. Several times as well a local dealer and answer continues to be "parts are not available yet". Should I discontinue use of this vehicle based on their warning of injury and even death?.

Takata recall I contacted the mercedes dealership in modesto CA and was told that the part to remedy this recall is not available yet! I received a notice in yesterday's mail that takata is filing bankruptcy and followed the instructions on the card. Nothing has happened at this time but my fear is what can happen because we have been waiting so long already.

Takata recal currently active duty military and this is my only car and getting stationed overseas but can't ship it because of the recalls that are on it for almost two freaking years!!!! seeing that some of the air bags are getting fixed but called dealerships all through out texas and everyone says it will be months if not years to get the recall fixed. Now I am stuck leaving my car in America where ill be paying for a car thats useless because it won't be going with me since this recall is taking so long. Way to help the military out.

I continue to call mercedes to replace the airbag and they continue to communicate that there is no eta at this time for replacing the airbag which means there's a pending status part replacement. As of December 21,2017 I am still trying to get my takata airbags replaced as a result of the recall. I keep getting legal notices to visit airbagrecall. Com, register my car, and go to the local dealership, but Mercedes Benz of baton rouge still cannot replace them. I do not know where else to go or what else to do. This has been going on for a year or more.

Takata recall, I recieved recall notice on the air bags in my Mercedes Benz during the first quarter of 2016. Parts were not available. It is now a year and a half later and still on parts are available. I have limited my driving of this car, currently less than 16,000 miles on the car. Now that they have filed chapter 11 bankruptcy I am worried it will never get replaced and the car will be significantly devalued.

1. Takata recall: this recall of a dangerous situation has been going on for about two years now is unacceptable and hazardous to em and my family. 2. Law suit: greg suddreth and paul denton v. Mercedes-benz USA, llc. On 10/30/17, I had to pay 3445. 13 for a repair my balance shafts gears, which we're deemed defective in all m272 engines which is in my C300. However, in the above mentioned law suit, this problem was supposed to have been corrected. When I brought this to the attention to the mercedes-benz of modesto technicians, they said I missed the cut-off date by one year. They acknowledged I had the same problem and checked to see if I qualified for a free repair, but later claimed, the issue with the defective balance shafts gears had been addressed. How can that be when I incurred the same problem. The repair should have been repaired under warranty. I eventually had to have the car repaired at mercedes of pleasanton because modesto didn't have any open appointments. Thank you for your attention in this matter. 3. Faulty electronic stearing lock: engine won't turn on and steearing wheel is locked. Several people have had this same problem. Mercedes claim not a safety issue, but when your daughter gets stuck at midnight at an amusement park on high school senior night. . . That's a safety issue.
