Cylinder head is defective. Service advisor told me it was a known issue in which exhaust valves within cylinder head are prone to premature wear. If left unaddressed it leads to inevitable engine failure. I was quoted $12,000. My car is 2020 model year with not even 60,000. Barely even 4 years old.

First day leasing the vehicle within 6 hours lights malfunction and malfunction warning on dash to seek workshop, vehicle was taken for inspection to original dealer (Mercedes Benz of bakersfield). During inspection I added additional concerning complaints about passenger door not closing correctly/wind noise seeping through when closed, and hood not closing promptly. One month into leasing vehicle passenger window malfunction, took for inspection and repair to original dealer (mbofbakersfield). Concerned with caution for me, my family, and friends when in that vehicle for giving faulty signs so early. One year into leasing vehicle check coolant warning on dash, took for inspection to original dealer. I am now more concerned as it went form electrical to coolant components loosing coolant with no reasoning from original dealer service other then a top off. Vehicle drive is rough. 1 year and 6 months into leasing vehicle, again check coolant warning on dash. Took in for inspection, gave no reasoning from original dealer service dept, other then a top off done. Vehicle drives rough. While driving 70mph, a vehicle behind was approaching quick when I went to excel to merge vehicle seemed to be slipping in gear/slow down. No warning lamps on, quickly decided/managed to merged to next lane so vehicle behind didn’t hit us as we were slowing down with 2 children in the back seat. Decided to exit to nearest exit to pull off as it felt unsafe to drive, as exiting and slowing down vehicle began to shake, knock, and make loud bangs. Managed to pull over, and check dash for massages for any type of warnings. No warning lamps, but many symptoms of a faulty unsafe vehicle. Had vehicle towed to original dealer service for diagnosis and report the unsafety incident that occurred with absolutely no warning lamps. Inspection lead to repair of engine but nothing done about no warning lamps/electrical system.

An engine code p052e (positive crankcase ventilation regulatory valve) appeared and the vehicle only has 50k on it.
Check engine light p052e crankcase vent valve thousands of same model have this problem should be recall.
Was driving on the highway , car was running for about 7-10 min from the start , and when took off from exit , car started to shake and when pulled off to the side of the road , the car won’t start anymore , dealership said that engine failed ,.
I bought this car new in 2013. I maintained it at the dealer as per mb recommendations. Last service was in August 2023. Currently had 42k miles on it. Two weeks ago 2 unknown to me lights came on and I took it to the dealer. The diagnosis was total failure due to oil leaking into the computer system. Second problem was water in the subfloor affecting sensors. Coons mercedes in catonsville, MD has all records. I was told that the oil leak was not detected because it was internal and due to an engine design. I was informed that there are many others stuck with this problem. I was informed that I was driving a car that could become suddenly uncontrollable. This was very scary. I was told I needed a new car. My insurance company inspected it and determined it was a total loss. I complained to mb headquarters and hq in stuttgart. I told them that they need to buy a new car for me. I have not heard from them. If mb know that there is an engine flaw why are they putting peoples' lives at risk?.

Crankcase ventilation valve emission modification -error p052e71 -error p06da00.
P052e. . Pvc ventilation crank shaft valve sensor, too many people all reporting the same expensive item/ labor intensive work by a dealership just after the warranty expires. Help. There are thousands of us with the exact same code and problem!! order a recall investigation!! pleas?!?!!!.
Emissions failure p052e - positive crankcase ventilation regulator valve performance. Vehicle has been inspected. Warning lamp appeared for my engine recently. Cause by faulty plastic valves that requires a significant costly repair - around $3,000 usd.
My car is registering code p052e71. The diagnosis says the valve for crankcase ventilation has a malfunction. The actuator is blocked. This is a common problem for this car with research. Some people have had to replace this part multiple times for their mercedes which is a part that shouldn't fail. Nothing has been done such as a recall on this vehicle. The part and labor to repair this issue costs $1000+ dollars. Something should be done to help consumers. I'm doing my part to report this hoping something will be done.
Pcv valve broke and it emits all sorts of poisonous gases to the cabin!.
Car worked fine, all the sudden it wouldn't turn over, I would put the key in and turn it and nothing would happen, I was stuck and had to catch a ride, lucky that I was able, a car company that is supposedly reliable shouldn't allow there cars to completely give out on people during the middle of winter storms and not take ownership, when the customer has taken good care of the car. Talked to several mechanics and turned out it was the electronic steering lock (esl) module that had malfunctioned probably due to the software and electrical. Due to this only the benz dealerships can repair, I had to tow it to a dealership and was charged around $2000 after haggling over the price. Terrible experience and should be recalled by mb, I have seen many complaints about this online and was very disappointed there wasn't a cheaper solution. Was both a safety issue, inconvenient and very costly.

My car was diagnosed with positive crankcase ventilation regulator valve performance failure. This should be recalled by the manufacturer because many C300 are having this very same issue.
Check engine light appeared. I took it to mercedes and they said the crankshaft was faulty. I had to repair it and it cost me about $1800. 00.
