One problem related to steering column has been reported for the 2007 Mercedes Benz E350. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Steering column would not lock and had a lot of play turning back and forth. When trying to restart on multiple occasions needed to turn wheel back and forth until the key would engage and start engine. No dtc codes for start issue. Replaced eis costing $1,100 so can only hope this is the only problem. Vehicle only has 67,600 miles.
