Two problems related to warning light on have been reported for the 2013 Mercedes Benz GLK350. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Tl-takata recall. The contact owns a 2013 mercedes-benz Glk350w2. The contact stated that while her son was driving at unknown speeds on the highway. The contact was in traffic to traffic when he notice the vehicle behind him was not stopping. The vehicle crashed into the contact vehicle causing the vehicle in front of the contact to be hit as well. No air bags deployed. A malfunction warning light illuminated. The contact had minor injury to his back both arm and left eye. The other individuals the contact was un aware of the injury. A police report was made. No fire department report was made. Medical attention was contacted and made aware but no further assistance was needed. The vehicle was towed by the police to a tow away lot. The manufacturer was no made ware of the failure. The dealer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle had damaged to the front grill, rear window and left side of the vehicle. The failure mileage was 115,000. Ck.
On may-June 2016 the vehicle was showing a warning light related to a malfunction of the driver's seat belt, the dealership found through a vehicle inspection that it was related to the steering module. One was ordered. The airbags were disable for a month, placing at risk my wife's life. The problem seems to be fixed but the airbags now could be disable or will malfunction in the future. Since this type of vehicle has takata airbags, I would like to request the replacements of all airbags, instead of a trial/waiting if this will malfunction in the near future, with a risk of a preventable death of me of my wife, as we both are driving this vehicle. I appreciate placing human lifes instead of monetary gain.
