Car Stall Problems of Mercedes Benz ML320

Tl-the contatc owns a 2002 Mercedes Benz ml 320. The contact stated that air condition does not turn off when the engine is cut off. The engine also fails to start when being switched on. The contact stated that they bought and installed a new altinator and still had to get a jump for the vehicle to start. It usualy takes three attempts for the engine to start off properly. The battery was changed and the engine still takes several attempts. The vehicle was towed to a local mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired however, the contact has an appointment on the 26th of this month at napelton's autowerks of indiana. , inc. 1301 indianapolis blvd, scherville, in 46375 where the vehicle will be serviced. The dealer was contacted. The manufacturer was not informed. Failure mileage unknown. Jw.

The contact owns a 2009 Mercedes Benz Ml320. While driving approximately 60 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. The vehicle restarted after several attempts. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who stated that the camshaft position sensor failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 60,000.

The SUV slows and/or stalls suddenly at different speeds. Started around 8,000 original miles on odometer. It is a 2009 ml 320 bluetec. Occurs unexpectedly for few seconds randomly.

Vehicle stalled whenever it was driven. There were no current recalls for this vehicle.

Vehicle stalled on the highway while driving about 55 mph. Vehicle was towed to the dealership for analysis.

While driving 25-35 mph the vehicle stalled without warning. The dealer has replaced the fuel pump twice but the problems still exist. Please provide further information.

On 04/24/02 my car started stalling out and not starting. It was towed to the nearest dealership. The fuel pump, fuel line, and fuel filter were repaired by 04/25/02. A terrible fuel smell took over the car and I returned it on 04/26/02. It was repaired and returned to me on 4/30/02. It started breaking down again on 05/05/02 and I took it in on 05/06/02. They had it for 10 days (until 05/16/02) and it broke down out of town on 05/25/02 where it remained for 21 days (until 06//15/02). It then broke down on the drive home (05/15/02)and I took it to the shop two days later (05/17/02, dealership closed). All of the problems are directly related to the fuel injectors, fuel pump and the entire system related to this but I have a 2 year old unreliable Mercedes Benz I am now paying to repair. I have contacted Mercedes Benz USA and they have been supportive of the service departments' repairs but I believe I have a car I can't sell, trade in or drive now and I paid $38,000. For it a year ago. Please instruct me on the best plan of action at this point.

Ignition key did not work. Had to use spare key in order to turn vehicle on. Consumer states without warning, at startup, while stopped, or moving, vehicle will stall, consumer states if you have a spare key, sometimes it will work.

The engine runs for about 10,000 miles before it begins to stall out at unexpected times. This problem has been diagnosed as a problem with the maf sensor . This sensor(mass air flow) has failed 3 times in less than a year in heavy traffic conditions. The vehicle simply shuts down and is hard to restart . This occurence has happened at all speeds and so far I have avoided an accident . I feel that it is a matter of time before the failure of the maf will cause a serious accident.

Vehicle has been stalling at various speeds since purchase, dealer has examined vehicle numerous times, but cannot remedy the problem.

Intermittently when vehicle goes over a bump in the road it stalls out and dies. Dealer has inspected vehicle, and has not been able to duplicate the problem.

The vehicle stalls on highway and does not restart due to unknown cause. Yh.
