One problem related to frame and members has been reported for the 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
At 12000 miles discovered that left body mount bolt was loose. Consumer retightened bolt. Vehicle began driving improperly. Consumer checked and noticed that right body mount bolt had snapped. Consumer very concerned because bolts hold body of vehicle to subframe, and a broken bolt increases pressure on the remaining ones, possibly resulting in an accident while driving.
