Consumer was involved in a collision while driving 35mph, the passenger air bag deployed, however the driver air bag did not, consumer was injured and had to miss 47 days of work, Ford sen consumer a refusal of liability stating that there was not enough impact force to trigger air bag deployment, this vehicle only had 190 miles at time of incident, however consumer no longer feels safe with it, dealer replaced the control module, no representatives ever came from Ford to inspect vehicle, two recalls, 00v27 and 00v412, deal with air bag problems.
Vehicle has accelerated 3 times when consumer wanted to slow down. Applied brakes, but was not able to slow down. Finally, had to take vehicle out of gear to slow down. Dealer cannot find cause.
When applying brakes they feel soft. Brake pedal keeps going all the way to floor. Has had them worked on three times,and they still not functioning correctly.
When operating vehicle at approximately 35 mph or over, , preparing to stop , brakes will begin to vibrate, heavier vibration when driving at a faster speed.

Gear indicator was in the reverse position vehicle surged backwards, braking system would not override the acceleration, causing the vehicle to hit a house.
Control of the vehicle. When deployment occurs the brakes should automaticly lock to prevent a runaway car.
