Abs failure happened a 5th time, and this time it spun my car into a power pole. Was only going 35-40 mph, driver came from the left and I tried to veer and brake to avoid them, pedal went to the floor and one wheel locked and spun the car. This needs to be recalled. Ford saying it was not an "unresonable safety risk" is not acceptable. Ended up with a shattered pelvis, broken clavicle and ruptured spleen. I do not want this happening to others, please be careful with these cars!.
Tl the contact owns a 2008 Mercury Milan. While driving, the brake pedal would occasionally travel to the floorboard when depressed. As a result, the vehicle was unable to properly slow down or stop. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the rotor and pads needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The contact was concerned that the failure was due to an abs failure. The manufacturer and dealer were not contacted. The approximate failure mileage was 120,000.
