Horn does not work. Vehicle has been checked by dealer several times. Horn would work intermittently, but currently it has failed completely. The rear seat belts are inoperative. The power steering, alternator, and front brakes failed. The catalytic converter caught on fire.

Consumer received recall notification (00s03)however consumer states brakes are still making noise, consumer took vehicle in for service on Aug 2, 2001 and was informed that there is glaze on the brakes and will eventually wear off, however consumer states the noise has been going on for the past year.

Consumer's wife was attempting to park, and when she placed right foot on the brakes, automobile accelerated on its own and increased the rpms, causing automobile to advance forward. It jumped the concrete. The brake could not stop the vehicle but when the vehicle stopped, the gas pedal went all the way down to the floor.
Brakes failed resulting in vehicle hitting guard rail, no deployment of both passenger/driver's air bag during collision. Mjs.
Brakes failed causing consumer to hit car in front of him resulting in injuries, possibility of cruise control not disengaging. Nm.

Pcrv in the rear brakes failed prior to recall notice 00v-075. Nlm.
Abs failure caused grinding and scraping noise. Yh.
Intermittently when speed control was activated it would accelerate beyond set speed, eventually causing vehicle to stall out and die. Also, intermittently vehicle would accelerate suddenly and unexpectedly when brakes were applied. Dealer and manufacturer has been notified.
