Coolant Leaking problems of the 1996 Mercury Sable

1 Coolant Leaking problem

Failure Date: 05/01/2001

Front frost plug broke and coolant leaked. Consumer had engine replaced . Ford had a TSB / voluntary recall on vehicle for that problem. Contacted dealer.

2 Coolant Leaking problem

The engine coolant system freeze-out plugs popped out of the engine block causing the coolant to leak profusely.
