- the contact stated that she purchased a set of firestone tires that did not last longer than 10 days. When she returned the tires to the dealership, they said that they were not responsible because she didn't get an alignment when she purchased the tires. Updated 01/31/07.

I went to dealer/seller to report cracks around sidewall that appear to be defects. The dealer refused to replace the tires. I fear that they are defective and that I might be harmed. They said it is "weather damage" I know what weather damage is on tires, and this ain't it. Please help. This is a Ford product, and they are running scared. Normally, they are cooperative about repairs. They shot me down, fast. . . Trying to cover their asses. Please investigate falty continental tires on Ford/Mercury taurus/sable for year 2000.
