1 Side/window Air Bag problem of the 2006 Mini Cooper S Convertible

Failure Date: 11/06/2014

Passenger side airbag sensor is faulty, causing the airbag to not deloy in the event of a crash, even though there is a passenger in the car. This is a huge safety concern, and Mini needs to do a recall. There are thousands out there with the same problem.

2 Side/window Air Bag problem of the 2005 Mini Cooper S Convertible

The passenger side air bag sensor turns off even though a passenger is in the seat. This issue should be covered by the latest recall notice but Mini USA has not included my vehicle.

3 Side/window Air Bag problem of the 2005 Mini Cooper S Convertible

Failure Date: 07/08/2011

When someone is sitting in the seat. Also, the light which indicates the passenger side airbag is off comes on when someone is sitting in the passenger seat. I used the same write-up on a previous complaint as the symptoms are accurate for my 2005 Mini Cooper S Convertible, with approximately 72,000 miles.
