The contact stated that while refueling the vehicle on two occasions, gasoline was leaking under the driver’s rear, underneath the fuel door, onto the ground. The contact stated that after refueling the vehicle, the fuel leak ceased. The vehicle was taken to the residence. The contact stated that on the second occasion, while refueling the vehicle, an oil pan was placed underneath. After refueling the vehicle, there was an eighth of a cup of fuel inside the oil pan. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact associated the failure with NHTSA campaign number: 10v065000 (fuel system, gasoline). The manufacturer was not notified of the failure.
