A. C. Is draining into the interior of the vehicle causing the carpet and flooring on the driver side under to the driver seat to become soaked through and will not drain out. On several occasions, footwear have slipped on the break and gas pedals due to moisture accumulated on the bottom of the shoe. The shoe is not able to dry and properly grip the gas and brake pedals due to the accumulated moisture soaked through the carpeting under foot. Have contacted local Mitsubishi dealership: the a. C. Issue is a known issue and they will not cover the cost of repair even though it is causing safety issues with vehicle stopping and accelerating. Contacted Mitsubishi corporate and received the same communication that was relayed by the local dealership.

The car has been accumulating fluid on the floor of the driver's side. Usure of where the problem was, we have been absorbing the water and airing out the car. Mold has accumulated as well (black mold) and now I know why I've had repeated respiratory problems, including pneumonia three times over the past 2 years. Rust is also forming due to the constant humidity levels inside the car. The brake pedal seems to be rusting as well as the driver's side chair floor mount. I cannot see what is happening to the electrical wiring, as it is covered by the panels. There have been numerous times that due to the liquid on the floor of the driver's side, my foot has slipped while depressing the brake which has led to potential accidents. As I cannot see the floor itself (due to the carpeting), I don't know if that is rusting out as well. I have not taken it to a dealer yet, since I didn't know what the problem was. . . I thought that maybe rain was getting into the car somehow. Well, since it hasn't rained in over one week, and the puddle in the car was worse than ever before, I suspected the a/c system. I went online and have found numerous complaints and yet there is no recall? I am appalled that this situation has not been addressed? fungal respiratory infections can lead to death, especially for those who are vulnerable. Slippery brake pedals, rusting floor boards and rusting seat floor anchors, potential for electrical shorts and/or fires are not acceptable. The company has apparently not taken responsibility for these issues. Perhaps it will take a death for a recall? I would like to emphasize that no mechanic was able to definitively tell us where this leak was coming from, nor were we able to tell. . . Until now. It has been two years. This car has no resell value and should not be sold due to the potential for serious harm. This matter is long overdue!.
I have talked to Mitsubishi numerous times since August 2016. They keep passing the buck or case manager is on vacation. I've been using a hose and funnel to fuel my car because the fill tube has rusted out. This and 4 more recalls on this car puts me in a dangerous situation that Mitsubishi is aware of. I am tired of getting the run around.
The contact owns a 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor. While driving approximately 35 mph, the vehicle independently accelerated to 85 mph without warning. The brake pedal was depressed, but failed to respond. The contact shifted the vehicle into the neutral position and it stopped abruptly. As a result of the stop, the vehicle went into an embankment, flipped down a hill, and landed in another embankment. As the vehicle flipped, the dash panel detached and struck the contact. The air bags did not deploy. A police report was not filed and there were no injuries reported. The vehicle was driven to the contact's residence. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage and VIN were unavailable.
Wet floor board on drivers side due to a leaking hvac. May cause slippery feet while operating vehicle. Also causing mildew and or rust. Seen lots and lots of discussion on net about this known problem. And they even have a bulletin on there website for the problem. But no recall?.

I was pulling into an apartment parking lot at 3 miles per hour or less applied brake and car surged forward. I applied more pressure to brake and the car surged again and would not stop. This caused me to crash into a unoccupied parked car which banged another unoccupied car parked next to it. All 3 cars were damage. My car and the car I hit sustained front end damage. The third car was scraped along the driver side door and rear panel. There was a witness to this accident that told the responding California chp officer that he saw my car experience two surges as I slowly entered the parking. He also informed the office that he saw my break lights on before the first surge happened.
From the time of purchase the car will not start after gas is put into it when the car is cut off. By pressing the accelerator slightly it will resume normal operation. The key does not come out of the ignition and the parking break will not disengage it. Keyless entry will not open or lock the doors, while at local gas station went inside and car was not there when got outside as if it was stolen but in fact had rolled into traffic and hit a car at the red light causing damage to both vehicles! the police arrived to investigate. A accident report was made and damage and well being assessment taken. The dealer who sold this vehicle to me a few months ago should know what they are selling to customers prior to sell because in this case someone could have lost their lives. I called the dealer and he said it is my problem now and does not want to give me license plates from deposit owed which will all the issues and potential out of pocket costs plates should be given to me in good faith.

Noise of sloshing water in the trunk and water dripping onto the driver's floor; soaking wet carpet. Very bad odor! causing a sick feeling. Rear passenger windows failed; right and left approximately six months apart. The malfunction caused the windows to fall down into the door panel. Roaring noise coming from both front and rear wheels.
While air conditioner is running and vehicle is in motion, blower stops blowing cold air, water drips inside vehicle on passenger side floor gets soaked with water and moldy smell inside vehicle. When making turns, you can hear water sloshing around inside the dashboard, and what sounds like static or sparks behind the dash. Water sometimes run over onto the gas and brake pedals, casing a dangerous situation. Blower motor has since stopped working as a result of water constantly running down on it.
Have had 3 incidents when driving between 25-45 mph, hit the brakes because of being in traffic or suddenly stopping to avoid accident; Mitsubishi's brakes don't react (car feels weird or forced) when it has to stop suddenly. One accident because of this. Skidding has also occurred because of suspension or brake problem???? not sure?.
