Windshield Wiper/washer Problems of Mitsubishi Galant

The contact owns a 2000 Mitsubishi Galant. The contact stated that the turn signal switch detached from the vehicle when he attempted to activate the signal. In addition, the windshield wipers work intermittently. The dealer stated that the VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign id numbers 99v305001, Mitsubishi recall number sr-99-003 (exterior lighting:turn signal:switch) and 99v305001 (visibility:windshield wiper/washer:switch/wiring). The failure mileage was 107,000.

I bought a 2001 mitsabushi Galant and the car runs fine but when it gets cold weather my turn signals, wipers, highbeam will not work till the car gets warm and sometimes it just stops working, we have changed fuses,bulbs no one can find out what it is everyone seems to think that it is the wireing. The warrenty is out of it and it was a used car when we got it but I bought it in the summer and by winter it was doing this it bothers me I am afraid that someone is going to hit me I don't know if there was ever a recall on this car for something like this and I wanted to check to see sorry for the trouble but if you could help me find out if there was a recall maybe that would explain it. I did try to contact the company but I couldnt fiqure out where to email them at. Again I am sorry , thank you.

A few months ago the radio started staying on even while the key was pulled completely out, then the horn fuse had to be pulled because while sitting in our garage and the car not running, and hadn't been running for 12 hours, the horn started blaring, until my husband could disconnect the battery, then while driving home one evening in the rain, I had the wipers and headlights on the wipers would not shut off, even when put in the off position. They would not shut off until I shut the headlights off. I am scared for my safety as well as others to drive my car, and especially to use the cruise. I fear that if I do use the cruise it will stay on, and I will be involved in a deadly crash. No one seems to know what is the problem. It seems to really act up when the weather is damp or wet. The wipers will come on by themselves in the off position, with or without the headlights. Please help.

While traveling durning rain and without any indication windshield wipers /high beams/parking lights, and fog lamps failed. Dealer has bee notifed. Please provide further information.

Power steering fluid and windshield washer fluid empty due to leakage in both reservoirs.
