On [xxx], I was traveling back to colorado from missouri. The weather conditions turned poor while I was traveling just west of topeka, kansas. I lowered my speed to below the speed limit and continued. At one point, the car lost control. At this time, it veered to left and hit hard against median. Smashing the driver side front end substantially. Airbags did not deploy at this time. My head smashed into the frame to the left of the steering wheel concussing me. (diagnosed later by an er doctor, notes provided in upload) after hitting on the left median, the car then bounced across both lanes of the highway and smashed the concrete median of an overpass. On this second collision the airbags also did not deploy. Before 2023 was over or in the first few days of 2024 I notified Mitsubishi of the issue. They quickly sent me a company called: tm claims service, inc. Out of pasadena, California. I provided them all of the documentation months ago and have received no communication after they've received it. To my knowledge, there were no previous issues with the airbags or the system that runs them. If I had to estimate the first impact would have been between 50-60mph and the second at least 40-50mph. I could have easily been killed in this situation and I am disappointed in the handling of this. Note the police report is not as specific as this and implies one collision, as seen in the photos provided there were two. At this point I do not know where the vehicle is, as it almost been a year and I was trying to work with Mitsubishi on this. I do know if the airbags were inspected following. I had a very serious accident last week while driving my 2021 Mitsubishi Mirage. The front of my vehicle was significantly impacted, but none of the airbags were deployed. The manufacturer was contacted and was unable to provide a dealer to provide the recall remedy. The dealer was not contacted. The contact had not experienced a failure. Recalls on Mitsubishi motor north America, inc. States the head lights and aor bags need to be replaced, but I never got notice from them for the recalls in the mail nor an email. I also had problems with maintenance light on dash going off when oil change was done on my car. Windshield had smear glare during rain and after rain occurred causeing me not to see far distance when driving at night.

My vehicle's engine is shaking on the arms, lights going off esp. During wet weather, and corrosion is extreme. My brakes cut on and off - this has been happening since I purchased the car in June, 2017.

The vehicle was traveling at 60 mph on the interstate (posted speed limit was 65 in this area) when it was blown by a strong gust of wind across some lose snow/slush. As the vehicle slid, the driver let off the gas and the speed was slowly dropping below 60 mph. The vehicle went off the right-hand shoulder of the interstate into a ditch, where it rolled, landing on the passenger side, roof of, and driver's side of the vehicle, before landing back upright on the wheels and ceasing to roll any further. At no point during the rollover as a result of impact did any of the airbags in the vehicle deploy. There were no passengers in the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was wearing a seatbelt. The front passenger seat was loaded with luggage heavy enough that the seatbelt light in the vehicle was prompting for the front passenger seatbelt to be used.

On April 18, 2014 only 2 months after purchasing their brand new 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage my parents were hit head on after a person swerved into their lane. Speed was not a factor, the investigation is still under way, and we still don't know why they both died (driver with massive head trauma including a broken jaw, passenger with massive abdominal trauma. ) there will be an autopsy on both vehicles, but the driver of the other vehicle walked away with a broken leg and heel. Why? I have looked long and hard at this new mitsubushi and I am wondering why their new safety system that would effectively keep them in a steel cell during an accident was compromised.

I've had problems with the car from day one. It has always used oil, having to add more oil all the time even though I due an oil change on regular basis. This has caused me to run low on oil, and the oil does not come on until as the mechanics say "its bone dry". The air condition belt squeaked from day one, then just quit working. The water pump has now went out twice!!! the first time the thermostat also was not working, which caused me to have a major mechanical bill. . . No warning while out of state!!! the windshield has always fogged up no matter what you do to eliminate it, which has caused me near collisions numerous times. The windows soon became off track for no apparent reason and now leak water. Ball joints have been replaced. This car basically was a lemon. I purchased this car brand new, my first new car and my last from Mitsubishi.
