As a true and faithful customer over the last 10 years, I'm finally throwing in the towel in regards to my recent 2020 Nissan Altima sr. With only 7500 precious miles, this car has been to the dealership over five times now, within a six month period. Constant and reoccurring issue's pertaining to the vehicles steering wheel shaking, wheel alignment and tire balancing never compted by Nissan of bayshore. I've been suffering physical and mental instability from work related duties, and this was the last thing I needed. A vehicle thats unreliable and potentially poorly manufactured. I'm going on my second windshield within three months now, and this time they won't warrant any repair. So I'm stuck footing the bill, either way I'm paying. Whether it's my insurance rates going up, or having to pay for it out of my own pocket. That's insane now, come on! see it for what it really is, the vehicle is un-operable, and un-reliable. And due to my injuries, this doesn't provide resonable accommodations for my disabilities. I'll have to confer with my legal representative, in regards to this matter. Unless you can make things right by me, and we can continue to do business together legitimately. Not like the charades, that goes on at Nissan of bayshore. By far the worst experience I've ever had with the lease of a new vehicle, especially during these difficult times. I'm sure any other car manufacturer would love to have my business, and accept my money with no problems. You people should be ashamed of yourselves for putting me through this controversy. Your own representatives, can't handle the situation, just keep taking it in, and we'll fix it! instead of procrastinating, just replace the vehicle already, so I can move forward with my life. I would appreciate your acknowledgement and cooperation at this time. Thank you, [xxx] redacted to protect personally identifiable information pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. Tl the contact owns a 2014 Nissan Altima. While driving 70 mph, the transmission downshifted, the engine revved, and the vehicle decelerated. The engine lost power when the vehicle approached a stop sign. In addition, the steering wheel vibrated. The contact was able to gain control of the vehicle after it was turned off and restarted. Also, the "m6" message appeared on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic to be diagnosed, but no failure codes appeared. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer and dealer were not made aware of the failure. The VIN was unknown. The failure mileage was 74,000.
My Altima is only 2 months old and did not start 4x already. It seems to do this first thing in the morning when the car is cold. My steering wheel is vibrating constantly and I can feel a vibration with my foot on the accelerator. There is a loud noise like a constant dentist drill under my hood that is louder every time I turn. The dealership just replaced my power steering pump and there is no change! my passenger airbag light is on when there is a passenger in the car. It will go off during drive time. It does not matter if I have my purse, a bag, heavy books or a person-it sporadically goes off and on while I am driving. I do not feel safe knowing the airbag will not deploy in a crash! lithia Nissan has checked the sensor, but it is still doing it. I owned a 2008 Altima and 2011 Altima that never required service other than oil changes and air in my tires. I am very disappointed with this 2015 piece of junk! I can hear wind noise no matter what speed I am driving. I feel like I am in a crash test every time I slow down. Nissan tech said it is the new cvt transmission. Honda, Lexus, Toyota, mercedes and Audi have cvt and it is a smooth ride! why does Nissan cvt jerk you around? the car is so cheaply made the speakers are popped up and paint is chipping. I have reported my issues to Nissan corp. And bbb. The newest issue is the rpm rev up as I sit at red lights. I want Nissan to rebuy this car back!.

I was driving normal speed limit 60 mph on the fwy when we heard a noise like a big pop sound. Right away when I tried to slow down to get over ( when I applied the brake) the steering wheel began shaking so bad that I was unable to control the wheel. It felt as if the brakes werent working. The car spun out of control and crashed in the carpool divider. This was a brand new Nissan Altima 2010 coupe with 60k miles on the car. We did not hit anything at the time or even before the accident occured, all parts on the car was brand new. I remembered that the more that I tried to apply the brakes the steering wheel shock harder and harder to where I was unable to even control it.

I have also experienced problems with the steering wheel vibrating recently. I got my rear rotors and pads replaced at the manufacture and thought this would cure the problem, then was told that I needed to get my front rotors and brake pads done to prevent the vibration in the steering wheel. I just got my rotors and pads replaced in the car 9 months ago. I think there is something seriously wrong with this car. I believe the transmission is about to play out. My car has been jerking when I drive. It appears to be "pulling". I asked the manufacture about this and the Nissan dealership reported no problems with the engine or transmission. I called Nissan main office regarding the re-call and the rep just told me that there was only one recall on my car, when I saw 4 online regarding the make, model, and year of my car. How does anyone know which cars have a recall or problem unless they are reported?.
