The front driver side windshield molding/fascia flew off the car along with a piece of large plastic that secures it where the hood meets the windshield while driving at 78 mph. It startled us and could have affected drivers around us causing major harm. It is large heavy piece of plastic measuring nearly 3 feet x 6 inches.

The contact owns a 2011 Nissan Armada. The contact's wife stopped at an intersection and when she proceeded to drive the vehicle, the rear driver's side wheel twisted. The vehicle was towed to the contact's residence. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The contact stated that the rear driver's side wheel well was rusted. The control arm was replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but informed that the vehicle was over the warranty and offered no assistance. The approximate failure mileage was 170,000.

The rear lift gate housing is cracked and comprises the integrity of keeping the rear door from opening from the inside and outside to include the glass window portion. I discovered the cracked lift gate housing as the rear latch is not fully operational.

I was driving to work on the morning of 11/17/2020, when I hit a deer with a front of my SUV. The front end of my SUV was severely damaged which caused the airbag to deploy, when the airbag deployed I thought it may have burnt me instead it was emblem retaining ring from the inside of the steering wheel that holds the plastic advertisement / emblem of the vehicle come out and cut / impaled me across the neck. Which led me to going to the er in the back of an ambulance. When I got to the er the doctor on call said if it would have been an inch over it would have cut the main culinary artery which I would have bled to death. At the er I received x-rays and stitches now I'm left with a scar.

Both interior overhead consoles are cracked and now the rear side overhead console completely cracked and now the console as well it cracked. The plastic is made like sand, if you just touch it, it will break off.

Tl the contact owns a 2010 Nissan Armada. While driving 35 mph, the contact struck a pothole and the front and rear overhead consoles all fell down at once. The contact pulled the vehicle over and attempted to repair the vehicle, but was unsuccessful. The contact took the vehicle to gwatney Buick GMC (5700 landers rd, north little rock, ar 72117, (501) 945-4444) and received a repair estimate. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was 156,000.

The inside overhead fell down causing my daughter and I to be hit in the head. According to the NHTSA report's there have been 12 complaints with mine, and according to the arfc there have been fourteen (14) complaints on this same overhead problem. This needs to have this vehicle been put on the recall list before someone winds in the hospital. My vehicle was stantionary.

The plastic mould panel holding the ac outlets, lights and temperature control and radio volume on the 2nd row and 3rd row seats fell off. Luckily no one was sitting behind otherwise they will get hurt and probably will cause injury. This incident happened after passing the speed reducing hump in the neighborhood . I would like to point out that this is a safety hazard that can happen anytime without warning and since this part requires no maintenance you can never tell when they will fall/dislodge from their location.

I bought my veh on 2/7/18 after purchasing and getting home several days later while driving down the hwy the lift tail gate started to open and my dashboard started to ding but there where no warning lights. I had to pull off hwy really quickly to deal with this issue. Then again on 2/20/18 the lift gate did this again 2 times while driving down the road. Went to dealership and they said before the second incident it wouldn't happen again. This has scared me both times of how dangerous this is. I have turned this into Nissan twice and have still not heard from anyone when it was turned in on 2/14/18. I had the dealership check the veh on 2/13/18 and they found a defect in the bar that operates this lift and also a sensor issue that controls the electrical function and also a defect in the motor on the veh. They said after the first time that the veh was safe for me to drive without it happening again and they were wrong as it had happened 2 times after that. Neither time was any button pressed to open the lift gate the veh was moving on the road.

Sunroof exploded in carwash. Explosion was so violent it bent the framing around sunroof. The vehicle was in the drying portion of the carwash. The carwash has incident on videotape but has not allowed me to view it as of this correspondence. The sunroof had no damage prior to this incident. Temp outside was approx 25 degrees and the heater was on inside the vehicle which may have contributed to the incident.

In 20017 I was rear ended on i95 by another driver at no fault on my part. I requested the vehicle be fixed but a check of only $384. 80 was mailed to me 2 years later. Now the vehicles steering wables, along with the brakes and wheels.

The back head console just came down without warning wires hanging everywhere. The part that you need to fix it cost too much. Very very disappointed.

We have a 2004 Nissan pathfinder Armada with under 74,000 miles on the odometer. The vehicle looks like it is in very good shape until it is put on a lift. The major control arms of the vehicle are severely rusted while other steel in close proximity is not. We found a recall for 1996-2004 Nissan pathfinders for this same issue: �campaign id #: r1107 �NHTSA #:11v-244 �applied vehicles:1996-2004 pathfinder (r50) Nissan north american told us that this recall does not apply to our vehicle. We believe that the components used on our vehicle were probably produced by the same manufacturer as the recalled components and therefore have the same issues. The Nissan representative that we spoke with would neither confirm nor deny this. ( mariana 615-725-5879) she could only confirm that the recall did not apply to our Nissan.

Rear plastic fender left side had come off while driving leaving the rear sensor exposed and hanging.

The paint on my hood and roof has discolored. It looks like the clear coat was defective. I've noticed it on many other Nissan Armadas and Nissan titan pick up trucks. Is there a pattern on lousy paint coatings?.

Brakes, at about 65mph car shakes violently, tv in the middle sounds like its falling out, engine turning over but not starting.

Front overhead console cracked and fell dangling by wires! after securely taping in place the console cracked in other places literally disintegrating. Rear overhead console showing signs of malfunction as dvd screen no longer stows into place. The plastics and bracing used for these components are troubling. Dealership just shrugs.

My finisher console/rear overhead console crashed down from the ceiling while driving. I am relieved that no one was sitting in the back seat at the time or I'm sure it would have injured the passenger. It was apparent that this part was poorly designed since it broke at all 4 hooks. It is very frustrating that the replacement part cost $1,028. 04 (with tax) and an additional $165. 00 in labor. Nissan should be recalling the Armada for this defect since it poses a safety risk.

The rear overhead console fell onto my two kids while driving. Sub par material used in the flimsy plastic brackets cracked and the whole thing came falling down. Only thing holding it up was the main power cable. This should be a recall since there a great number of this same exact issue.

Back window handle not working, can't open window anymore.

The contact owns a 2009 Nissan Armada. When the vehicle was purchased, the contact noticed a rust mark about the size of a nickel on the upper driver side of the roof rail. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and repaired with touch up paint. Afterwards, the vehicle displayed signs of rust on the entire roof from one side to the other trough the paint. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 25,000.

I hit a deer on July 5th 2014. My front bumper pushed in on my driver side wheel. Cracked my grill. Broke out a head light on driver side. Bent the driver fender and drivers door and my airbag did not deploy. A week and a half later my airbag light comes on. . . . . I carried it to Nissan and they said it was not wreck related. Spoke with my insurance company and was told that this is a common issue with Nissan Armada. I need a reliable vehicle and I cant take the chance of traveling with hazardous restraints. . I currently have a reject sticker and I do not feel responsible for repairs.

The vehicle was taken to a dealer, who diagnosed that the handle mechanism needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the problem. Tl - the contact owns a 2008 Nissan Armada. The contact stated that while driving 30 mph, the over head console fell and cracked. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 66,000 and the current mileage was 67,800. Pm.

The contact owns a 2009 Nissan Armada. The contact stated that while driving 30 mph over a road bump, the front oem control housing console detached from the ceiling. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was 100,500.

In July 2013, I noticed the front overhead center console started to crack on both sides at around the same points. I didn't look anymore into it because the appearance was minimal. My concern came once I realized the console was loose. I called the Nissan dealership in regards to the problem and was told it was a consumer issue which had to be paid out of pocket because there wasn't a recall on the item. After pricing the replacement part I was not able to purchase due to the cost which is almost $1500 to completely replace the entire console. Since then the small cracks have since turned into a complete crack straight across the center of the console. Even with the crack the console continued to be loose but was still somewhat stable. I went to work and as I came out to leave noticed it was hanging by strews. After looking inside where the console was based the strews were still strewed in along with the plastic from the console which had broken off. After further researching the issue, I have since realized this has been a continuous and ongoing issue with this particular truck.

After going over a speed bump, my son noticed the ceiling center console coming loose. After parking the car, the console fell. Luckily my son caught it, had he not noticed it was loose the console would've fell in his head.

While the vehicle was parked at the store, my family and I returned to the Armada and found the front console had fell from ceiling of vehicle. . If you look you will see there are numerous incidents of these consoles falling out of the ceiling. I do not know why there has not been a recall on this vehicle. This is very dangerous. There is a defect with where the screws go in to hold this up. The plastic just crumbles around it. After this happened I checked the rear one to inspect the condition it is in. The rigid plastic is cracked around them too. Any day now I am waiting for this one to fall out as well. These consoles falling could cause an accident because it will definitely hit the driver in the head and cause a distraction. We will check to see if any class action suits have started or can be started.

Tl- the contact owns a 2008 Nissan Armada. The contact stated that the front and rear center console are broken. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where the technician diagnosed both centerpieces needed to be replaced. No repairs were made to the vehicle. The manufacture was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 72,000 and the current mileage was 98,639. Sr.

Tl-the contact owns a 2008 Nissan Armada. The contact stated the overhead center console fell from the ceiling. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer. The dealer stated the overhead console broke due to an unknown part. The dealer stated the overhead console needed to be replaced. The contact did not have the replaced. The failure mileage was 90,000. Jo.

Tl- the contact owns a 2008 Nissan Armada. The contact stated that while driving 35 mph, the console in the ceiling of the vehicle became detached, striking the contact in the cranium. The vehicle was taken to a dealer for diagnosis and was informed that the console would have to be re-attached but no cause for the failure was determined. One week later, the rear ceiling console became detached. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 47,500 and the current mileage was 52,000. Kmj.

On Saturday morning at 845am at a laundry place my vehicle was parked. Next thing we hear a loud noise coming from outsude the laudrymat place. . My vehicle was smoking from the hood towad the dash board and then I cound not even open the door with the key or the alarm button. . So a friend broke the driver window and then tried to stop the fire from sreading but was not successful. . I tried to get my belongs but either. My vehicle has been maintain in good service at the Nissan dealer. I only had it for aprox 1yr nothing was wrong with my car until that day for some reasn I dont know it caught on fire. . I think these vehicle need to be check out. . Cause maybe if my kids where inside I believe they would have some burn scars on them ,becuase the stupid door could not be open with the or the alarm key. . .
