Brake booster malfunctions during normal driving causing unsafe breaking. Brakes almost lock up when pedal is depressed. You have to pull off the road, turn truck off and back on to work, and sometimes you have to do 2 or 3 times. Dealer wants $1k to fix booster and from what I have read, it does not always work fuel gauge malfunctioned, ran out of gas 2 times when gauge still shows 1/4 tank. This is a recall on newer vehicles but mine is a 2005. Airbag light is on and dealer states needs replacing.

The contact owns a 2005 Nissan Armada. The contact stated that the fuel gauge inaccurately displayed that the vehicle had fuel although the fuel tank was empty. The vehicle was taken to a private mechanic where it was diagnosed that the fuel sender unit needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that the vehicle was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 10v074000 (fuel system, other). The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 126,000 and the current mileage was 130,000.
The contact owns a 2005 Nissan Armada. The contact stated that the fuel gauge would not read accurately. The vehicle stalled while the contact was driving 45 mph due to the fuel gauge reading that the fuel tank was full when it was actually empty. The vehicle was towed to the dealer who inspected the vehicle and advised that there was no fuel in the vehicle and that the fuel gauge failed. The vehicle was not repaired and the dealer offered no assistance. The manufacturer was notified who advised the contact that there was a recall for the failure under NHTSA campaign id number: 10v074000 (fuel system, other: storage: fuel gauge system) however, the recall campaign was closed despite the fact that the contact's vehicle was included in the recall. The manufacturer offered no further assistance. The failure mileage was 139,160. . . . Updated 12/03/bf the consumer stated that the fuel gauage broke once in 2007. The vehicle was repaired. The consumer was reimbursed for the repairs under recall in 2010. The fuel gauge failed again with the same issue in 2012. Updated 12/5/2012.
I was driving down an interstate with my wife and 3 children at 75 mph. All of a sudden the car stalled and died. Power steering was lost and the vehicle quickly decelerated. I was able to flash the car behind me so we were not rear-ended and then we coasted to the side of the road. We had the vehicle towed to a local repair shop who told us about the current NHTSA campaign #10v517000. In the meantime my wife looked on some message boards and people reported a fuel tank problem on the Armadas, where the fuel guage shows there is 1/4 of a tank of gas when in reality it is empty. We put some gas in the tank and it started up. We took the vehicle to Nissan dealership and they replaced the ecm relay recall, but said the fuel switch (NHTSA # 10v07400) was VIN specific and we had to pay out of pocket. I believe our vehicle should be a part of this recall and Nissan should reimburse us for these repair costs.
My 2005 Nissan Armada fuel gauge is reading incorrectly. When the fuel gauge gets down to 1/4 of a tank it stops registering. I found this out because twice I thought I had a 1/4 of a tank left but there was actually no gas in my tank and I ran out of gas in the middle of the highway. I took my car to the Nissan of mckinney dealership and they said my VIN number did not fall under the recall and couldn't fix it, even though it was having the same issue as the recall for the Armada. I submitted a complaint to Nissan and they rejected my request to have Nissan pay for it because my VIN wasn't part of the recall. If Nissan knows this is an issue with the aramda why wouldn't all Armada be covered?.
My Armada showed that there was fuel in the tank. The gauge on the instrument cluster and the trip computer both showed there was a â¼ tank of gas in the vehicle; however, the vehicle had ran out of gas. The fuel sending unit is not working correctly. I took the vehicle to Nissan and was told the fuel sending unit was bad in the Armada and if I were lucky my vehicle may be part of the recall. My Armada is a 2004, recalls were done for the fuel sending unit on 2005 models and above. Nissan has refused to recall the 2004 model. Safety issue fuel gauge inaccuracy. I am requesting that the 2004 model Armada be added to safety recall ntb10037. This fault causes the vehicle to ran out of fuel while the gauge still shows up to a quarter tank remaining. Loss of power and control of vehicle which may cause accidents.

My 2004 Nissan pathfinder Armada le has only 20,000 miles and I had to replace the fuel sensor because it was reading incorrectly. When I filled up, the gauge would only show it 3/4 full. Isn't inaccurate reading of the fuel tank a safety hazard when driving? why wasn't the 2004 included in the fuel sensor recall like the 2005 to 2009 models?.
Fuel gauge not working correctly leaving you stranded while reading 1/4 tank of gas, brakes fail forcing you to pull over and turn off truck pull out key then restart, seat belts do not retract getting caught in door when closing.
