One problem related to clutch has been reported for the 1998 Nissan Frontier. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Vehicle isn't accelerating into gears. Consumer took vehicle to dealer to have clutch checked, and although they did nothing to vehicle it seemed worse. Consumer had just exited onto highway, and vehicle would only get up to 20mph. It took vehicle 3-4 minutes to get up to 50mph. Dealer blamed consumer for constantly wearing clutch.
