1 Tire Pressure Light On problem of the 2013 Nissan Frontier

Failure Date: 10/18/2014

I own a new Nissan Frontier sv 2013. With only 25,000 miles on the vehicle I was traveling down the highway then with a very short notice the vehicle started a right hard turn, then the low tire pressure light came on. I pulled within a minute to the shoulder of the road got out of the vehicle smelled burning rubber and flat tire. Mind you these tires have been rotated no visible foreign object outside the tire. But the sidewall is toast. Bf goodrich radial long trail t/a, p265/70r16 had to be replaced with a new tire. The service people could'nt find any object imbedded inside or out of the tire. I saved the damaged/defective tire.

2 Tire Pressure Light On problem of the 2006 Nissan Frontier

Failure Date: 04/25/2009

We purchased a used 2006 Nissan Frontier with nismo package that had 32,000 miles on it. By the time it had 36,000 miles, the truck seized on the highway. We had it looked at and was told all of the oil had leaked out of the transfer case and the bearings/seals were broken. Also, that several of the transfer case bolts were missing before it was taken apart for inspection. After waiting 3 weeks for the parts to come in, we purchased new tires. The tire pressure light did not reset on the dash board and still tells us the air pressure needs to be checked even though we paid for nitrogen that supposedly keeps the air pressure constant.
