The contact received a recall letter and took the vehicle in to repair the recall at the dealer kelly Nissan, inc. 4300 95th st, oak lawn, IL 60453 (708) 499-1000 for a mass airflow sensor. The dealer stated the recall repair was completed but then the check engine light was still on. The contact took the vehicle to an independent mechanic to run a diagnostic test for the check engine light. The results were that the original problem for the mass airflow sensor was still an issue. The VIN tool no longer showed the recall. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 57,000. Tf.
