1 Front Suspension Wheel Bearing problem

Failure Date: 04/10/2009

The contact owns a 2006 Nissan Maxima. While driving at an unknown speed, the contact heard a rubbing sound and noticed that the wheel would stop and then continue to rotate. He looked underneath the vehicle and noticed that the wheel bearings were defective. The vehicle was towed to a dealer and they replaced the wheel bearings. The VIN was unknown. The failure mileage was 71,000 and current mileage was 85,000. Updated 6/29/09 the consumer stated the vehicle was repaired. Updated 06/30/09.

2 Front Suspension Wheel Bearing problem

Failure Date: 02/06/2009

Front wheel bearing failed at 73,000 miles, partially seizing, car was towed to shop and the bearing was replaced before it totally seized.
