The contact owns a 2007 Nissan Maxima. While driving approximately 10 mph, the vehicle began to decrease in power. He released the accelerator pedal and when depressing it a second time, the failure recurred. The contact assumed the vehicle was out of fuel, yet the failure corrected itself. The contact stated that the failure would occur often. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer and the dealer advised him that the abs sensor would need replacing. In addition, both knuckles and the hub would need modification. The dealer disabled the abs system. The failure mileage was 69,000 and the current mileage was 69,966.

Front wheel nut that secures wheel hub to cv-joint came loose in my 2002 Maxima. Nut was backed up to the cotter pin. Also, this happened last year on my wife's 2000 Maxima. I think Nissan made a bad design decision when they chose not to use a locking washer/nut for this design. I have a jpeg picture of resultant wheel wobble.
