Tire Bead Problems of Nissan Maxima

Goodyear eagle tires , tire had 27,000 miles on them all four tires was cracked around the inside bead at the rim , goodyear says they don't warranty oem equipment but the dealer says its there responsibility, I had to replace all four tires out of pocket.

The contact owns a 2006 Nissan Maxima. The contact stated that all four of the tires kept going flat. The inner bead where the chrome is located continued to deteriorate, which caused the tires to flatten. The dealer stated that they voided the warranty because armor all was applied to the tires, which caused them to flatten. The failure mileage was 14,509.

The consumer noticed that the front driver side tire was getting low on air. The vehicle was taken to a service station, and the service manager told her the tire had a crack and needed to be replaced. The goodyear dealership found that all four tires had cracks on the inside beading. The consumer had the tires replaced and no longer experienced a defect. (12/02/05).
