Today, Nov 26, 2019, a dry, sunny day near boston my brakes on 2010 Murano failed and car rear ended the car in front at about 10mph. Pedal went all the way to the floor , car slowed slightly but was unable to stop with plenty of space to do so in normal conditions. Unable to steer around it due to oncoming traffic on left and hill on right. Damage to both cars. Police responded and car eventually towed to body shop. . Noticed similar complaints but why no recall?.
The brakes failed (I was in motion) and I was almost in a car accident. As of right now, I have no brakes. There is currently an investigation into this matter by your agency and Nissan is currently conducting a "voluntary service campaign. " this is the second time this has happened to me and the second time I have reported it to Nissan and your agency. I never received a response from Nissan or your agency. There needs to be a recall not only for the 2009's, but the 2010's as well. This is a very dangerous situation and needs to be corrected ASAP. I'm lucky I wasn't killed today because of Nissan's defective parts (abs actuator). There's many articles on-line about this problem. Could you please help me and the others affected by this problem? as of now, I have no brakes and my car cannot be driven.
The brake system compleley failed and a rear axel came loose and almost lost atire driving before the brakes stopped and failed ijust had brake fluid put in the resivior too and they still failed on the vehicle.
The brake system failed back in August causing a total loss of my vehicle I sprained my neck nobody wants to know about what this single vetran has to say I was pulling into a gas station and the brakes failed and it was out of gas.
