I purchased a vehicle from a dealership located at 4985 memorial drive stone mountain GA. 30083 and I was told the vehicle needed two front rotors, passenger side axle, and brakes so I drove to auto zone to purchase the parts so the dealership could fix the problem once I arrived back at the shop and got on the highway I noticed the car started shaking, losing control of the wheel because he didn't fix the axle, smoking, smelling like something was burning and like gas so I called the dealership and told them what I was experiencing and was told to take it to a shop once I took it to a shop I was told the car was no good and I needed to take it back to the dealership once I took it there I was told I couldn't get my money back and I didn't have the car longer then 24hrs not even longer then 6 hours and I really feel like I been played out my money and want it back and I need help on actions to take about the situation because I don't have my money and I returned the car.

Car hesitates when pulling out into traffic! if I come to a rolling stop or a full stop and try to pull out, the car seems like iy may die but eventually kicks in, but seconds could mean a collision. My husband says he does not experience this and its my driving, but my daughter has had ths happen also and I have others witness this also. This is an ongoing problem, makes me afraid of driving my new car.

Got service engine soon error code on monitor with temporary loss of power on the road on 2005 Nissan Murano (54000 miles). Looking at internet I found that this is consistent problem for this car just like other Nissan cars of this period (xterra, pathfinder). This is related to fuel sensor error with p0463 code which is unusual for any cars. Estimated cost of repair is about $600 to $ 800. I think Nissan should recall or at least partially compensate owners. I was also asked to replace power steering high pressure hose a few years ago that costs about $ 1000/=. All these are safety issues as it can stop car on road at any time. I request and encourage others to inform NHTSA and Nissan if such problem arises.
Several times while driving on city streets the car would shut down completely, with no warning had to get towed. While in drive-through car shut down but a delay then restarted. Bought new battery, alternator and got a tune-up. Currently the car will not go in backwards.
Two dangerous issues. First is when I am waiting to pull into traffic and have to give it a fast start. The car totally fails as I do this. I move about 5 feet and the car does nothing, leaving me hanging out with traffic approaching. Eventually, after pushing the gas pedal, it responds. The second issue happened recently. The car would not drive more than 30 mph. I was driving down a typical rural road and the car just gave up, allowing me to go 30 mph at the most. Eventually cooperated after I stopped. Both problems are very dangerous.

On busy fast California freeway when traffic slowed, so did I, then I went to speed up to keep up with traffic and my car would not move. I was pressing accelerator and my car literally was not moving! my check service engine light came on (no warning, just now) I was so scared! I put my hazards on, and I had to drive a few miles going 25 mph, and making my way across lanes to get off the freeway to safety. Once off freeway I pulled over and turned car off. When assistance arrived my Nissan Murano started fine and appeared ok. I drove to hotel and as I was in the middle of a busy intersection making a left turn, I pressed the accelerator and my car did not move! it then stalled and by now the light turned red and I was sitting in the middle of the intersection! I started my car and it zoomed pretty quick. Problem is, I cannot drive a car I cannot trust. This is a death trap waiting to happen. I noticed so many others have experienced this, so I wonder why this vehicle was never recalled for this?? I have maintained my Murano very good, I have always backed and believed in Nissan- now I wonder. On xma eve it did this, as I went to proceed on a green light. It was night, raining, windy and my car finally died. I put on hazards, but I was in dangerous location- in middle of road. I got out of my car and waited for help.
When I start to accelerate after a stop light or stop sign, my car will hesitate to accept the gas and seems as if it's going to quit, however, inadvertently it finally catches up and will start to accelerate. This has been happening since I purchased this vehicle in June of 2016. It seems as if it is more often lately. This happens often and is dangerous going through an intersection. Also, this makes me uneasy because anyone behind me could possibly run into the back of my car.

P0463 code needs a recall.
Fuel line sputters, car lurches forward or completely stops.
Car hesitates when accelerating causing a danger when car does not go as expected when pulling into traffic. It also jerks and shudders at lower speeds, the car shakes somewhat violently and will stop if you floor the gas pedal. Bought the car brand new from dealer and have brought in for the issue to be told the computer doesn't see a problem. I drive the car daily I know there is an issue and it is dangerous to drive when it chooses not to go when accelerating.
The check engine light will not go off on my car-I took the car back 4 times to the dealer and it has not been fixed.

Started about 1 1/2 weeks ago (approx 2900 miles on the odometer), first time wasnt expecting it and hoped it was just a fluke, 2nd time it happened early my daughters were with me and asked what was wrong with the car when it happened, and then again the other morning at the end of my 45 min ride into work. Each time it happened was when I was merging from an on ramp into traffic. The last occurance, and I believe the others as well, I was going approx 35mph, staying steady on the speed looking for a spot in traffic to merge into, giving it gas and started my merge only to feel and hear no change in rpm or speed, giving it more and more petal, and still no change in speed at all, after avoiding the other driver that almost hit me because of it, I moved back over and had a moment and tried again to get into the petal at almost wide open throttle and still no rpm change and no movement up in speed (also still no loss of speed), during each occurrence the car was smooth (no engine bucking just wouldn't respond to gas input). The same symptoms have occured the three times it's occured. The resolve each time was the same, let off the gas for 1-2 secs, give it gas and the car drove again as normal. Dealership has looked at my car with no explination, no trouble codes were generated, and they stated tranny fluid was fine. It acted like the cvt was stuck on a particular band and also wouldn't allow any additional gas, hence no additional speed. The last occurance it was about 35 degrees out. I have tried to reproduce the problem many times with no success at all, and with no codes being generated to point the dealefship to any issue, this is a big safety concern for me and my family as it goes unresolved.
On 2/3 while driving the car cut out completely, no steering, no brakes, no power at all. I managed to get to the side of the road. Towed to dealership where problem was diagnosed as a bad battery. The car 34 months old with approx. 30,000 miles. Two days later 2/5, the same problem occurred. Driving on the highway, car died out. No brakes, no power steering, no power at all. Car was towed home and is currently at the dealership awaiting a diagnosis. Extremely dangerous situation.

Tl-the contact owns a 2015 Nissan Murano. The contact stated when she was at a stop sign, she noticed the odor of fuel fumes. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 200. Lb.
I attempted to make a right to turn into the parking space at the restaurant and the truck jerked forward. I pressed the brake pad and quickly noticed that the truck did not stop. I said out loud, “it’s not stopping!” the passenger in my truck then leaned over and noticed that my foot was in fact on the break pad. I made the statement again, “it’s not stopping!” the truck rolled over the concrete parking block and proceeded into the building. I was pumping the break peddle to the floor at this point. I could hear the engine accelerating as I was pumping the break peddle to the floor and the air bags never deployed. I yelled uncontrollably because I could not believe what had just happened. I remembered yelling out loud…”it wouldn’t stop…. Oooo god…. It wouldn’t stop…why didn’t it stop!”.

Nissan Murano 2007: faulty fuel level sensor, fuel level sensor harness is open or shorted, fuel level sensor circuit poor electrical connection. Engine light on (service engine soon warning light), incorrect fuel level reading. Also, weak engine mounts, right side engine mount and lower front between engine and radiator. Please advise if there is a recall. Thank you.
I was driving on m52 and was going to attempt to pass a slow moving vehicle. I stabbed the accelerator pedal to pass and it stuck in this position. I cancelled my attempt to pass due to traffic and had to brake the vehicle. I was able to keep control but I had to pump the accelerator several times to get it to release. This is actually the second time this has happened with this vehicle. The first I was stuck in my yard in the snow. I was trying to get unstuck and one of the times when I was trying to get the vehicle to move the accelerator stuck and I had to repeatedly stab the accelerator to get it free. This was around mid January of 2015.
When pulling into a parking space with the right foot on the brake pedal, the car accelerated. The car had enough speed to go over the cement parking block and hit the vehicle parked in front. Trying to avoid that vehicle the steering wheel was turned to the left and other vehicles were hit. The car then stopped. All the time the foot was on the brake. The car was then put into reverse and backed up to clear the vehicles.
Transmission suddenly seized and vehicle would not move, even when being pushed in neutral. Luckily it was in my parking lot but if this had happened in traffic or on the highway it could have been a dangerous and potentially deadly situation.
Rattling noise occurred couple months ago then heard winding noise during slow speeds. Yesterday, there was loud clanking noise at 25mph and the car stopped.
While driving on the interstate the vehicle lost acceleration completely. . It had to be re-started in order to continue driving. Once in ,option again, the engine was idling extremely high and continued that way until the vehicle was turned off and sat for over an hour. Started.

I own a 2007 Nissan Murano. Problems with vehicle misfiring. Brought to dealership. Told that I have to replace the fuel sending unit. Gas gauge will show fuel is empty but its not. Gauge will go up and down.
At 90,000mi needed motor mounts, control arms, and front end is still nothing to write home about. It won't take gas and it bucks.
The first time that this issue happened I was driving down a a mountain with lots of curves when the car lost power. I would press on the gas pedal but the car would not respond as I started to head into a curve all the lights in my center console came on and the car shut itself off. I quickly proceeded to put the car in neutral with one hand and with the other on the steering wheel driving the vehicle as I was going around a sharp curve. I was able to start it up again but this was in my opinion very dangerous. I took it to the Nissan dealership and they could not figure out what the issue. Some months later I was driving around town and my Murano would not move even though I was pressing the gas pedal all the way to the floor I pulled over to inspect the engine compartment to see if I could fined the problem. Finally after about 45 min. It regained the ability to move again. I have taken it to different mechanics but they have not been able to get a code for this problem and all I keep hearing from them is to continue to drive it until it gets worse. As I have stated before I find this issue to be very dangerous and that is why I send Nissan an email to let them know about my dissatisfaction with their product and to let them know that I will never again purchase another Nissan product.
Unable to put fuel in the vehicle!.
My check engine light is on constantly so take it to a mechanic who tells me that Nissan has an ongoing problem with its fuel sensors for years and years on many of its models and has ignored it. Now I'm required to make the repairs on a faulty part to the tune of $655 because my car won't pass inspection otherwise. Nissan has put out a service bulletin (ntb07-069a) for code p0463 but won't help at all with this outrageously expensive repair. Called the dealership and my warranty doesn't cover repairs either. Faulkner Nissan, harrisburg, PA sounded like I was the 100th person calling about this issue and they wanted nothing to do with me. I am single mother, working full time, saving to send a daughter to college. I take good care of my Nissan Murano knowing it is vital to my ability to provide for my family. I will now need to break the law to drive it to get to work because I don't have $655 for the repairs. This is downright wrong. Nissan should stand by its product and fix this issue. Please help.
My 2006 Nissan Murano was purchased used March 2013. Since then, I have put over $4,000 worth of repairs into it and I am still having problems. The latest issue is the car having no power when pushing on the accelerator and it will surge when you finally get it to go. I've replaced fuel filter, catalytic converters, transfer case just to name a few of the repairs. I am in the repair shop at least 2x/month! now I read where there are many others having the same problem and Nissan ignoring the complaints! I now have a car I am making a huge car payment on that I cannot drive! plus I do not have the money to replace the transmission! I work in hospice and I drive to see patients every day and now I have no vehicle!!!! so it is now affecting not only my personal life but my work environment!!!!.
I purchased my SUV new in 2004 I have followed all required dealer maintenance. Last year the SUV began to seek to stall or ignore the accelerator. If I pressed the gas to the floor the SUV would not move, then suddenly it would take off. It seems to have this issue randomly and even seems to stall as I make left turns across traffic lanes. Today was scarry, I need my vehicle to get to work, but I'm afraid to drive it. There are hundreds of consumer issues on line all with the same issue. Nissan extended warranties for this issue but never notified most of us. Like Toyota will there have to be fatalities in order for your agency to force a recall and hold them accountable? clearly nisan knew the cvt transmissions were faulty, are faulty. I don,t expect a response but something needs to be done. Protect us.
I was driving at 30 mph to go home when my car lost all power with no warning. Thank goodness I didn't have my young children with me. The shop fixed my car after nine days and all was covered except the alternator. Total damage was 6,000. 00. Two days later my car started to hesitate while driving. I quickly got rid of the car. Too bad I loved it for the first 44,000 miles. Beware.

Shortly after purchasing our 2009 Nissan Murano in sept 2012 a loud noise was heard at times in the floor board. . . It was discovered to be a broken motor mount. . . This was replaced under 30 day warranty from place of purchase. The sunroof cover also was defective as it would not open completely at times and also required replacing. Since this time in 2013 the wipers do not work properly at all times. . . This has not been recreated for a tech to inspect. . . . Sometimes they do not go as fast as should if heavy rain and other times go too fast if barely drizzling, this is on the intermittent function. February 2014 was due to take in for routine oil change that day and service engine soon light came on that morning. . . Was advised needs new catalytic converter, was at 85k, manf. Warranty went out at 80k, extended warranty we purchased and paid extra for was to cover up to 150k; however, does not cover this part. Nissan says nothing on them, funny they are the ones who made the vehicle, and regardless of this being a used vehicle (we are the second owner) this is not something you can tell in advance is going out. . . We have not had any noise prior and this was first time light came on. This is very costly and something that has to be fixed in order to pass inspection or I will not have a vehicle to drive.
