The manufacturer was made aware and of the failure and stated that the dealer confirmed that the vehicle operated as designed. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 6,370. Fe.

My car is totally just crap! I've replaced coil packs, alternator, mass air flow sensor, battery, hub assemblies, catalic converter, and a lot more and it still has major problems! I believe it has electrical problems because my radio gets a loud static. It seems like it has a hard time accelerating. Then starts shaking real bad at about 20-40mph, then does fine above 60mph???.

On a main road parked off of a highway, car battery and brake light started flickering, suddenly as I tried to pull onto main road and car randomly forcefully stopped as if went to neutral wouldn't accelerate in any gear. I had to roll the car back into a parking spot quick as possible as there was oncoming traffic. I then turned car off then on and more lights on the dash illuminated, abs, brake, battery, and trackion control as well. I turned the car off to then try restarting again and wouldn't do anything as, completely dead. Had to leave the car overnight parked til the following day for a tow since it never started back up. Waiting on what caused this problem, definitely unsafe, could have caused a accident due to going into a neutral like mode as driving onto a main road and near a highway.

Vehicle began to show loss of power in 2019 while attempting to accelerate entering. A highway. Vehicle also would jerk when positioned from park to reverse. Vehicle would not accelerate when coming from a complete stop. Vehicle would not accelerate when attempting to give more power, asnif it was stalled I parked the vehicle due to the fear of causing an accident. And being seriously injured.

The car slowed all the way down on the freeway . Almost causing me to crash . It did it suddenly I was unable to pull over . I was going about 65 mph while the a/c was blowing it completely malfunctioned.

Back in April my Murano would turn off whether I was accelerating or just sitting at a stop light, the brake light and battery light would come on and vehicle wouldnt start back up, ended up having it towed 3 different times to mechanic who couldnt figure out what was wrong because it wasnt showing any codes so from there had it towed to newton Nissan where it took them 10 days to diagnose it was the alternator (replaced battery first but that didnt work)ended up getting the Nissan alternator versus aftermarket for the warranty, get it back everything is fine, now in August alternator fails out again, back to newton Nissan we go, the replace "alternator" and when I get it back power steering isnt working so after the fixed that everything was fine until it started shutting off on me again like the very first time. Meanwhile ive had to pay over $1000 for the alternator work which was recalled however my VIN didnt fall under the recall. Engine compartment and hood of car are also so hot you cant touch them even after just driving 1 mile in 70 degreee weather however the temperature gauge isnt running high. Now the airbag light is flashing on and off upon starting. I tried cycling the engine nurmerous times but the light is still on. Nissan said they will have to replace whole unit for $5000 because they cant pin point airbag issue. Airbag issue isnt fixed and nobody can tell me if I have a working air bag or not. Im not sure if I need to contact an attorney because im now concerned about the safety of my 4 year old daughter while in the vehicle.

Takata recall the engine in my 2007 Nissan Murano stalls at one point it shut iff on me while driving my son to school. The air bag light is blinkg so there a peoblem with the air bag there is a problem with the speed control the vehicle slows down and it will not pass 60.

Tl the contact owns a 2007 Nissan Murano. While driving various speeds, the vehicle would not properly accelerate when depressing the accelerator pedal. On several occasions, the engine continued to rev very highly before the vehicle abruptly accelerated at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who was unable to determine the cause of the failure. The manufacturer and local dealer (nelson Nissan, 800 w. Queens st, broken arrow, ok) were notified of the failure. The VIN was not available. The failure mileage was 129,000.

Stalls: this vehicle was recalled for stalls and the problem never went away,(not sure if the repairs was really done). The stalls are becoming worse!!!! problem: when the vehicle is driven for more than 15 minutes and it comes to a complete stop, (at traffic light, in city or anywhere) the vehicle sporadicly stall when the accelerator is pressed. If the road has a slight incline the stall is more eminent, so that the vehicle won't move even when the accelerator is pressed to the floor. The only two things that remedy the situation a) place the vehicle in reverse [very dangerous->city driving], b) turn the engine off then restart the vehicle [also very dangerous]. This problem has been ongoing since 2007 but it is getting worse.

Forward collision system turns off on a regular basis as you are driving.

Takata recall I am not sure why my VIN is not recall as yet. The car accelerates on occasion. I replave all coils now every 2 months because thats how long they are lasting Nissan weston florida has not been able to figure out why the car keeps burning coils out. This feels so dangerous to me on the hoghway I do not know if it is the transmission or computer its very scary.

The contact shifted into park to avoid a potential crash, but the vehicle failed to stop. The air bags did not deploy. A police report was filed. There were no injuries sustained. The vehicle was able to be driven from the scene. The contact stated that the failure was intermittent and first occurred two years ago. An independent mechanic was notified, but the failure could not be duplicated. A dealer was not made aware of the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. Cvt transmission. Vehicle decelerates and accelerates without warning (check engine light is on). Mainly at stop lights. It is slow to start. When trying to accelerate, vehicle stalls, jumps, or slips with rpm accelerating above 4 rpmx1000, while speed remains at 10 mph for 2-3 minutes. Loud humming noise when vehicle is trying to accelerate. Vehicle makes no noise in the morning. Symptoms worsen when vehicle or outside temperature is hot (e. G. Above 85 f). Cannot drive above 45 mph or on highway. Vehicle is only 4 years old with 112k miles. Has been serviced on-time by dealer. Vehicle is unsafe to drive, especially when crossing intersections.

I had to replace my altenator 3 times. I bought the car 2 years ago at 90,000 miles. When it first went out, I bought one from autozone, then 4 months later is went out. I had a warranty thru autozone on the parts so the part was replaced but I had to cover the labor cost. 2 months later the altenator replace it again but I wanted labor cost covererd this time. They agreed to cover the part and labor. There must be an electrical problem with these cars. I ve read other owners of the same car having the same issue. If Nissan doesn't fix this for free, I will never buy another of their cars because I can't believe multiple times. I had two different mechanic so it not the person, it's the car, I believe so. The other problem I've had it that the air duck intake hose keeps disconnecting, it will cause my car to miss file and run very ruff, like poor performance. It can make the car shut off while driving or at a stop sign.

Radar sensor issue started about 6 weeks, started getting message front radar unavailable, it wound show for a few seconds then go away, in the last two weeks it has increased to 2-3 times a day ( I was driving 5-10 miles daily) yesterday we drove about 40 miles and it happened at least 6 times. I called Nissan where I had made my purchase in March 2018 and the lady advised there had been several of these situations happening. We have a service appointment on oct 2 2018.

C/s forward collision warning keeps periodically coming on with no obstruction in front of vehicle. When warning occurs it shuts of the cursie control. Very dangerous when driving down the highway.

While driving on a city street car lost charge would drive very slowly about 1 mile per hour. Brake and battery light came on. Have already replaced battery and alternator about a year ago but when same thing happened today. Per the VIN my car has not been recalled. I'll have to get invoice from tire choice to show what I paid for alternator and battery. Thank you.

I was driving my car and the engine acted like it was going to stall and wouldn't respond by giving it gas. Then it just lurched forward abrubtly and began to run normally. Then after about 2 more blocks while we're going 45 mph it completely stalled out in the middle lane of a 3 lane road. This caused the car behind me to almost rearend us but the cars behind them actually did get into a crash trying to stop from hitting them. Thankfully a police car was a few cars back and was able to put their lights on and push my car out of traffic because we couldn't even get out of the car with cars whizzing past us on both sides. Thank god or we could've been involved in a multiple car crash and one of us could have gotten hurt. This happened on 07/13/18. I paid about $600 to replace the alternator and fix something in the cooling system. Now it is only a month later, 08/15/18, and it's done it again. It stalled in the middle of a construction zone driving 35mph while taking my child to school causing traffic to back up. The cars were driving through the construction cones/signs to our right illegally or they were driving down the shared turn lane on our left to get around me. About 200 cars drove past us without bothering to offer help and even after calling 911 for help, it took them almost an hour to show up and once again had to push us off the road to safety. This is creating a huge safety concern. I saw recall 09v169000 for similar or same issue for my model/year but when I look up my VIN it says I have no recalls. I had spent almost $1300 about 3-4 yrs ago to fix this very same "stalling while driving" issue and thought I was past all this. Now I'm back to square 1 and issue still exists! why is this Nissan Murano flaw not covered for all Murano's with this problem? pease research my VIN# and see if it can be included in the recall before one of us gets seriously hurt?.

My 2004 Nissan Murano stalls when driving and sitting still. When driving my car responds as if it is not recognizing me pushing the gas and then after a few seconds it jumps to get going. Likes its catching up to the speed amount I pressed when pushing the gas. When I am sitting still my car does not move in it stalls in any direction (moving forward or backward) for a few seconds then jerks when its ready. This mostly occurs when driving on city streets, highways, turning or stationary. Whenever the car is started. The NHTSA campaign id number is 09v169000 this report explains my issues with my car exactly.

In June 2018, my car started stopping suddenly while driving. I took it to the mechanic who change my alternator. The problem persists. I change my brakes, still the problem persists. I took my car to the dealer , they informed me that my car has abs module recalled and that was the problem. They changed it. The car could not drive out of the parking lot thus, I returned it to the service center. They diaganed transmission issues, they said they fix it. The car stop within three blocks and on the highway. I returned it back to Nissan service center, now, they said it's the alternator. I informed them that I have the alternator changed lest than 30 days. The car is a lemon because of the abs module that Nissan canot fix or unable to fix. Every time that car is in motion, the abs light turn on and the car stops abrutly. I have two teenagers who drives my car to go to school. It becomes a hazard and unsafe due to the recall of the abs module .

My 2003 Nissan Murano stalls out on me while driving, and multiple times just today 06/07/18 while driving at a normal speed limit, vehicle just slows down causing me to put my hazards. I was not able to accelerate. This is a hazard for myself and more important my children who ride in this vehicle with me. My VIN# does not have a recall, but reading other consumer's comments there is a major issue. It's my hope that this can be recalled so that we the consumer's will have a piece of mind and be safe while driving on the roads.

First reported June 2018, replaced failed again, curating under engineering review, at this time when it alarms all time, also curse control does not work, and side alarm off and on. When in motion, we have insurance discount for the collision warning system that is not working.

Purchased the Murano 5/15/2018. Almost immediately noticed a problem with braking/acceleration. The problem occurs when I start to apply my brakes to slow down the engine seems to rev up causing the vehicle to accelerate forward. This requires a need for me to slam on the brakes in order to get the vehicle to stop and get it back under control. The strange thing is that this occurs only about 1/3 of the time. However I feel this creates a major safety hazard to me and others around me on the highway. I have taken the vehicle to my local Nissan dealer on on 2 occasions to have them check this out. Unfortunately they say nothing is wrong but the mechanic says he knows what I am talking about because he has experienced it before with other vehicles. He also says there are no recalls for that issue.

Car loses power while driving. Codes p1700 and c1210 pop up in computer. No one can tell me what is wrong. Airbag light is on. No one can turn it off or tell me if it will work.

Driving came to a stop at a light car died. Restarted it, drove home. Car wouldn't start, replaced the fuel pump. Vehicle started was driving got on the freeway had no acceleration control, loud knocking noise all of a sudden, turned around went back home and before I got to my front door the radiator exploded! the whole top of it cracked open.

Air duct issue same as described in the 2007 Nissan Murano recall. This is causing my engine to stall.

The issue is when the anti-lock brakes are engaged. After they are engaged the break pressure immediately goes soft and the brake pedal goes to the floor with no breaks. I have reported this for the past 2 years and the Nissan dealership tells me that they cannot reproduce the effect and that they are fine. It only seems to happen in the winter months when its cold. I have to pull to the side of the road and shut the car down and restart again. It seems to reset the anti-lock brake system. Ive noticed there is an investigation going on and wanted to report what I have found as well. The latest happened when I was slowing down at a stop sign and hit an icy patch which then the antilock brake rumbled engaging it. After I finally stopped half way into the intersection the brake pedal went to the floor with no brake pressure what so ever. . . . I guided the car to the side and sat for about 15 minutes and shut down and restarted the car before brakes came back.

1) airbag light alarm for passenger seat goes on suddently after 80,000 miles. After dealer inspection, seems to be related to the occupant classification system (OCS) varistor located in the front passenger seat cushion, as mentioned in your ntb08-095 November 4, 2008 recall campaign. Found it strange my vehicule VIN is not associated to this complaint, but I have the problem. 2) alternator suddently died after 80,000 miles without warning, while driving on the highway. Had time to pull on the side, but situation could have been dramatic. Suddently vehicule reduced speed and went from 60mph to 10mph, then no more battery, so could not light the warning lights. Very dangerous situation. Problem have been reported for many Murano different years, recalls were done for 2005 or 2008 Murano but none for 2009. A $1300 bill at the Nissan dealership. 3) got airbag light alarm for passenger seat right after alternator problem.

My car has a front emergency braking system. This system is located at the front of the car, in lower grille. The sensor detects when a vehicle in front of you has stopped. As you get closer to the vehicle, if you do not stop, the car will sound a 3-beep alert notifying you to stop. If you still do not stop, the car will apply the brakes and force the car to stop to prevent an accident. , I was driving home, when the 3-beep alert sounded, and the dashboard display started flashing red and white lights. A message on the display stated that a crash was imminent. Then the brakes engaged suddenly, and the car almost came to a complete stop in the middle of the street. The brakes engaged so hard and so quickly, that it threw me forward in the seat. At the time, there was no car in front of me coming to a sudden stop and no crash was imminent. Nissan is aware of this issue, and there are class action lawsuits, but Nissan won't issue a recall. I've taken my car to a Nissan dealerships and they won't replace the sensor. The dealer told me my sensor bracket was slightly bent, but the vehile was bought new and never in an accedent I asked if the braket was installed form the factory slightly bent they said it could of been? this doesn't explain what happened. According to the owner's manual, if the sensor bracket was bent it should never of worked from the start??? , if this were the case, there will be a message on the dashboard display indicating the sensor is obstructed or not funtioning, and the front braking system will turn off. This was the 3rd time it has happened . I decided to get another unbiased opinion from a non Nissan dealer repair shop. They ordered a bracket from Nissan and showed me that it was not bent that Nissan has an issue with the crash sensor and is looking for any way to deny the repair. The shop owner told me to call nssan and have a rep comeout.

Vehicle hestiates - it jerks and shudders when accelerating normaly around 20 mph, and also around 40 mph. It feels like the transmission isn't shifting properly and causing abnormal vibration and instability while trying to accelerate normaly. The vehicle is in motion on city streets and urban highways when this happens. This has happened several times over the last couple of months - and as recently on Sunday August 27, 2017.

Vehicle takes minutes to pick up speed especially true when it is on a stop position either in an intersection or traffic light intersection. I put my foot on the gas and press all the way down where it slowly moves, pick up a speed and do the same thing for each stop sign or traffic stop light. When starting the vehicle, it makes a screeching sound. If able to drive, steering wheel sometimes have that slight shaking. We have been experiencing these issues for more than a year now. Tires were changed and brakes changed but issues still a big concern.
