1 Vehicle Shudder problem

Failure Date: 01/27/2017

"takata recall" the car stared to vibrating while I was driving I can feel that the gear were not working properly I stopped the car call a tow truck took the car home call the mechanic and he explain to me that the problem is the coolant went into the transmission also tale me that it is a very common problem in this car. To fix it is extrimely expensive it is more that the value of the vehicle. I just fund out that almost everybody that has a Nissan Pathfinder o xterra had has the same problem. Definitely is a factory problem and we should not pay for it the company should fix it.

2 Vehicle Shudder problem

Failure Date: 06/11/2016

I was driving around 35 to 40mph when I felt a vibration under vehicle backed off gas pedal went away after that it would come back now and then around the same speed just like you where driving on a rumble strip. Took to Nissan for diagnosis told me vehicle shifted erratically and found anti freeze in transmission, they gave a quote of more than $7,000 to fix. When I asked what could cause this they said a bushing could have been worn to let coolant into tranny, now they get info on problems that occur I just got a phony answer. Any way Nissan dosen't give their customers heads up on notifications of problems and complaints all get lost or buried . Nice support from Nissan. No more business from me. . . . . . . . 103,345miles on Pathfinder 2008 all happened on a flat smooth road driving straight.
