2014 Nissan Pathfinder hybrid. My vehicle failed to accelerate after stopped at a light; car shakes like it's going to stall out; car shakes when going at low speeds and lightly pressing the gas pedal, it seems as if the transmissions tries to shift but the gear doesn't go in. My vehicle shifts into od on its own. This happen while driving in both highways and city street and while turning. Car is 50000 miles I have taken it to the dealer and they say they dont see a problem but this is happening more often now.

We purchased the vehicle in 2017. We received a clean bill of health if you will. Within 2 months of the purchase we noticed a transmission issue--jerking jarring hard to shift etc. We purchased an extended warranty which covered everything bumper to bumper for what we thought was 100k miles. Turns out it was some ridiculous number 88k. Anyway--we continued to complain tot he service center about the transmission and every time we were told there were no issues. Well we took the car in for oil change as we have done since day one and told them again about the transmissio. This time (we were out of warranty) they coded it for guess what? the transmission with a whopping price tag of $8k. I have been all over trying to get resolve. This car is dangerous--I cant merge into traffic bc it is too sluggish it stalls out and will not shift at a low speed---and to complicate matters worse-- there was a class action lawsuit that Nissan just settled in the fall for over $277mm for the transmission issues---we were never notified of the suit. I really need some help as no one is taking this seriously.
My car was towed to the dealer for the 3rd transmission. The last transmission was put in 2 months ago. Car stalls, sputters, fails to accelerate.
