Rearview System Braking Problems of Nissan Pathfinder

My vehicle has had 3 fuel pump failures in under a year, requiring 3 separate fuel pump replacements by an authorized Nissan dealership. The fuel pump failure causes the vehicle without warning to stall in active traffic, loss of power and the drivers seat to move back away from the steering wheel. The infotainment center has also failed 2 times and had to be replaced 2 separate times by an authorized Nissan dealership. The infotainment center failures also cause the back up and side view cameras to become inoperable. The vehicle and repair records are available for inspection upon request. My safety and the safety of others is put at risk because the repeated and unpredictable fuel pump failures cause the engine to stall in active traffic and the loss of power. This is unsafe because the stalling has happened in hazardous situations like while exiting the interstate. The drivers seat also moves away from the steering wheel and brake while the car is in motion creating a risk of loss of control. Additionally, when the infotainment system fails so do the side view and back up cameras increasing the risk of an accident. Although the vehicle is currently operational, the pattern of failures creates an ongoing safety risk. An authorized Nissan dealership confirmed the failures and replaced the fuel pump three times and the infotainment system twice. The vehicle was inspected and repaired multiple times by an authorized Nissan dealership, and the issues were reported to Nissan consumer affairs. The failures occurred intermittently and without warning.

The 25 Pathfinder sv back up camera lags 2 to 3 seconds when shifted to reverse. It show a still image of what's behind but does not update to live feed till a few seconds later. This is dangerous as there have been many cases where I thought what the camera was showing was a live view behind my car when it was just a still image. I have had some close calls when backing into parkings spots.

When engaging in reverse, the back up camera screen will blank out consistently for about 1 second or longer, it will do this when the car is already engaged to go in reverse. This happens constantly, and for it to be a safety feature should be corrected.

Brake pads wearing prematurely, too many rattle noises in side cabin, moonroof water leak, hit and miss rear cross traffic alert, frequent infotainment system reboots, transmission shift to nutral while try to speed up.

Initial item includes power tailgate not operating properly and on at least one occassion it began to close while operator was loading groceries into the back of the vehicle - hitting operator on back. Another item is now occassional screen glitch when using back-up camera/display lastly - power windows not operating well vehicle has less than 36,000 miles.

My rear camera display malfunctions and the screen goes black. I took it on to Nissan for repair and the problem is still not resolved. I contacted Nissan on several times and reported the issue to see if my vehicle is on recall list but it’s not. I believe it should be. I also have issues with my driver window. It gets stuck especially in the winters. I took my vehicle to Nissan to resolve the issue, and they said it’s glue to how the doors were made. I purchase the vehicle brand new. I feel Nissan rushed the car on me to get a sale and didn’t double check to see if the vehicle had any flaws. I would like to report a recall on my vehicle. When I looked online I noticed the rear view camera has been recalled and I wonder why my vehicle is not on the recall list. Nissan has a record of my vehicle being brought in to repair it.
