One problem related to hydraulic power assist steering system has been reported for the 1997 Nissan Quest. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Battery blew up when car started, steering grinds on turns (won't pass inspection!), two middle windows the closing devices each fell apart at separate times, check engine light is on and won't go off, mechanics can not find source of problem.
