Three problems related to engine and engine cooling have been reported for the 1999 Nissan Quest. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Nissan Quest 1999. Gas pedal is blocking and requires revere strength to be pushed. This happens several times during the day. Once the pedal is pushed hard the vehicle suddenly thrusts, causing possible damage to the engine and transmission. This also causes the vehicle to suddenly gain much speed and requires extra control by the driver. I am seeing many complaints on this website regarding the same issue (referd to as 'gas pedal sticking').
Without any warning, the van would fail to accelerate. This caused the consumer to pull off the road. The owner has made contact with the dealer. Please provide any further details.
1996 Nissan Quest developed problems with the engine. ** answer required***. The consumer stated the noise in the engine started 1 year ago. The consumer has received several different answers as to what the problem may be, however the problem still has not been resolved.
