One problem related to gas recirculation valve (egr valve) has been reported for the 1999 Nissan Quest. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Filled fuel tank & drove approximately 230 miles when engine check light came on. Drove 30 more miles & engine check light went out. Took to dealer & mechanic placed vehicle on diagnostic machine. Codes appeared. Parts were ordered & placed on vehicle. Problem came back. Leak could not be located coming from engine. Nuts & bolts indicated evaoprated vent hose. Service engine soon light keept coming on due to egr solenoid valve failure.
