Check engine light came on and says fuel level sensor circuit a low.
1. Fuel gauge- the fuel hague is incorrect. I suspect somewhere between 1/2 tank and 3/8 tank will actually be an empty tank. I was almost left stranded when I could make it to the next service station. The car performed slow and the car came to a slow stop. No fuel indicator light came on. 2. My steering wheel has been very difficult to turn. Suddenly the power steering tank requires daily service. There is a rattling noise that gets a little better when I pour power steering fluid. I am unable to make safe turns due to the steering wheel no moving at it’s normal rate. Turning at intersections is the worst as I sometimes have to try several attempts. I end up having to take wide turns and that is not always safe in our narrow streets. There is no indicator light related to this concern.
The fuel meter don't show the fuel measurement.
My van first cuts off in the middle of the road while my pregnant wife was driving. Even though gauge indicates that the fuel was full. Then it cuts off again after the supposed fix by the dealership. Nissan had previously issued campaign id #: p5318 for this problem but as all other customers would note, this doesn't fix the problem even after taken the vehicle to the dealer. We need Nissan to look into this ASAP. Took it to the first dealership where it spend two and half weeks and they couldn't figure out the problem. The second dealership now says I need to replace the entire computer and reprogram which costs thousand of dollars. This is ridiculous!.
The contact owns a 2007 Nissan Quest. While driving 55 mph, the vehicle stalled. The contact was unable to restart the vehicle. The vehicle was taken in for diagnostic testing and the result was a possible misaligned crank position sensor. The contact received notification of NHTSA action number: pe14012 (fuel system, other); however, the part to do the repair was unavailable. The manufacturer was notified, but the contact was not offered a remedy. The failure mileage was 75,000.
While driving on a service road we lost engine power which made steering very difficult and got us almost hit by cars behind us.
There is no accident yet and wish not to happen anything like that. The car's fuel level gauge is malfunction since this month, December 2014 and I got a code for p0462. I found that it is very common troublesome in Nissan vehicles and many of their models are in recall but not 2007 Nissan Quest yet. I also learned that this vehicle is under investigate for this matter. Please process it soon.
First time, I was driving on busy traffic and looked at the gas gauge and it displayed another 40-50 miles to gas/fuel empty, but my Quest died as it ran out of gas; I had no warning or light came on. Second time, I was on the freeway driving at 60 mph and looked at the gas gauge and it displayed another 50-60 miles to gas/fuel empty; I felt my Quest was going to stop, so I was lucky to get out of freeway and my Quest died right after (out of gas). For both occasion, I had children on the van and extremely concerned that this issue just happen all of the sudden. For safety concerns, I took my Quest to auto mechanic and they confirmed that the fuel/gauge was not working and got it repaired.

While driving, the car suddenly loses power and comes to a stop. After several attempts to restart the engine I decided to check the mte and gas guage which both indicate there is plenty of gas to continue. I had the battery, alternator and starter checked and they were fine. So I decided to add more gas then shazam it started. Please inform if there's a recall or how to remedy the issue. Thanks.
My wife and kids were driving about 25 to 35 miles of speed all of sudden vehicle was stalled. After towing vehicle to home found that fuel guage doesn't showing the correct fuel level. By god grace nothing happened to my family otherwise it would have been accident that too narrow bridge.
