The ceiling panel fell down inside the van. Thank goodness there was no one sitting in my back seats. They would have seriously been injured or even killed. The panel is very heavy.

I was parking and barely moving with my foot in the brake when the vehicle suddenly reved up loudly. I had to depress the brake heavily to keep it from moving forward and put it in neutral. The vehicle continued to rev hard until I turned off the engine.

Sometimes when I press on the brakes the steering wheel shakes. It’s inconsistent and I can’t pinpoint actually causes to avoid it happening. It’s never been serviced or has never shown a service indicator.

Power window motor repeatedly goes out on the driver's side. The passenger door that opens automatically by the button has a motor that does not stay working.

The dashboard on my 2012 Nissan Quest s is splitting at the edges leaving a gap between 1/16-1/32 wide. The area around the passenger air bag is now outlined and I am concerned it my effect the air bag. This started about a year ago and is getting worse.

The electrical system failed that connected the radio, navigation system and back up camera around four to five months after receiving bill of sale. When parked or stopped the vehicle stalls by dimming of lights and making a kind of stalling sound. The windows sometimes tend to slowly wind up or down(electrical). My safety and that of others were put at risk because of the electrical issues and so the vehicle is notable to perform at the level it should. The vehicle was inspected by a certified auto mechanic and was confirmed that it was an electrical issue. No warning was detected that I am aware of.

Front sun roof exploded, showering glass over the roof. Driving on a smooth city street at 35 mph. No other vehicle or person in the vicinity, and nothing overhead. Temperature near freezing and spitting snow. The local Nissan dealer accepts no responsibility.

I just replaced all the motor mounts on my 2007 Nissan Quest. They have gone bad again. After looking up many forums online, this appears to be a very common issue and possible design flaw. Why has this not become a recall on Nissan's part? are motor mounts not a concern? everyone is stating that no matter what they use, either aftermarket or genuine Nissan parts, they all fail.

The passenger side sliding door is malfunctions.

Vehicle acceleration drops off when accelerating from a stop for the past couple months. Vehicle accelerates normally after a couple seconds of unresponsive acceleration. Dealership advised on service visits, they claim they can not duplicate the issue, but I can while leaving the dealership.

The speedometer quit working and the odometer does not work right.

I was traveling on the highway at night with my daughter and my two grandkids. When I noticed that the car started to stop and then got off the highway and came to a stoplight the car completely shut down. Everything completely went off the car would not start, the electrical system also went down there was no power anywhere in the vehicle. I then contacted Nissan consumer affairs and reported the issue. They advised me to take it into the Nissan dealer and have it diagnosed. While at the Nissan dealer the repairman there were three informed me that there had been a cvt malfunctioning issue with this type of vehicle. During the time that I was at Nissan having my vehicle diagnose, there were two other same make and model of my vehicle there for the same reason. And unfortunately for me this has been an ongoing issue and Nissan was aware of it. When this vehicle was manufactured they had several cvt issues. At one point they put out a notice to all of those affected for the recon. Once they realize the number of complaints they intern removed the notice from the online. And decided to handle it on a case by case, which now they are not repairing because they're making it a decision of their own and not as a recall. I've been having this issue for the last two years I would like Nissan to take ownership of the malfunctioning cvt that they placed in these vehicles. I have done my research and came across multiple hundreds of complaints about the same issue that people have posted online and Nissan needs to take responsibility for a faulty part that they placed in these vehicles. This is also a safety issue, because had my vehicle completely shut down on the highway as it did when I came to a stop light something majorly could have happened to both myself and my daughter and my grandkids we may not still be alive today.

The vehicle can't speed when the engine is hot until your off the engine before it can speed and it overheating.

My 2007 Nissan Quest with144,500 miles, has a real bad clunking sound when accelerating, decelerating, or taking off from a standstill. A mechanic told me that it is from bad motor mounts. When accelerating or braking, the motor moves a lot. It does not make any more noises when turning, mainly win braking and accelerating, but also when the transmission shifts up or down a gear.

The vehicle was stalling multiple times on the freeway on my way to work this morning (9/25/19) and there is a sudden thump on the engine as it was trying to accelerate and would stall again after a few yards. So I decided to pullover safely and started the vehicle again until I reached my destination but with emergency lights on. This is absolutely a safety issue as it increases the risk of a crash or being hit from behind, with the vehicle stalling. This is the 2nd Nissan Quest I owned and it is having the same problem. The 1st one had issues at 50,000+ miles. The manufacture should look into this safety issue.

I was driving my 2013 Nissan Quest, when without any warning it stop accelerating, it would nit go forward or backwards. I was stuck in the middle of traffic with a car full of my family this is very dangerous. I noticed that when the a/c is on the car will move forward or backwards. This is dangerous and when moving and you turn right or left the van stops accelerating with out anywarning no check engine nothing . This problem needs to be fixed before a hole family losses there life due to faulty warning and the transmission not working like it should, it sounds like tjhis is an issue with a lot of the same model vans.

The car was parked. The power sliding door closed all the way on my child's hand. There is suppose to be a safety mechanism that keeps the door from closing all the way. It did not work and I had to hit the button on the door for it to open and release his hand.

Loss of power when driving. Also happens when stopped then try to go. Rumbles like wheels cant catch.

Timinig chain is very loud and needs to replaced at only 141k.

We have had to replace our battery several times since purchasing our vehicle. In 2018 alone we purchased 3 batteries then the final straw is that there is an "h" slit in the dash yet the car has never been in any accidents. Which during our financing time period was never a concerned to the dealer. Now that the car is paid off, these 2 specific habitual problems have significantly affected the price of our vehicle. Upon researching the vehicle it seems our van may be part of the software recall but I am also thinking that the crankshaft may be a huge factor also.

Transmission failed at 107k miles.

The van started smoking and blew up 3 times.

Takata recall the speedometer goes in and out all the lights in the van is not working and light blink on and off and the overdrive stays on all the time.

We purchased a 2013 Nissan Quest in November 2015. It had around 48-49k miles on it and currently has 99k miles on it. While driving it yesterday, it began to violently shake upon acceleration between 0 and 45mph. It felt exactly like driving over rumble strips. We took it to the closest mechanic, who test drove it before pulling it into the garage to check the axels. When he went to put it in reverse to back it out of the garage, the transmission completely quit. The mechanic informed us at that point that Nissans with the cvt transmission were notorious for having these types of issues. No check engine or transmission lights ever came on.

On city streets, the car accelerates when I press the brake pedal. The rpm increases and I am certain that I was not pressing the gas pedal. Universal attached a black box to the car but has refused to share the data. The latest service was done recently.

"takata recall" the light on indicator is on for the airbag.

On different occasions, when attempting to drive from 0mph, the vehicle will not accelerate. I have to turn it off then turn it back on then usually it will work. Also sometimes it won't start it turns over strong but will not crank. I'll wait several minutes or so then attempted again then it will crank and drive normal.

Recall when you are stepping on the gas trying to take off with the vehicle it will loose power and you need to let off the gas and try again. When trying to go again it will hitch then your need to give it more gas. Does it every time you stop.

Takata recall. . . . Transmission is jerking uncontrollably. When it snaps into place it feels like you've been hit by another car. This has been going on for 2 months. This happens when shifting into another gear or while driving.

On 8/7/17 my wife was hit in the left side of her eye/head area by the passenger side sliding door while she was trying to get our 2 year old son out of the car. Our car was parked in our driveway. She went inside our home to get a bag for a beach day with our 5 children, but after a few minutes, she didn't come back to the car. I went inside with our children to find out what she was doing, and I found her on the floor, head down, with a pool of blood behind her head, and she was unconscious. I called 911 and my son began cpr, as she had foam coming from her mouth. My son after numerous continuous pumps to her chest, around 5 minutes, she finally took a breath. When the paramedics arrived, they took my wife to the hospital where she continued to have a very hard time breathing and upon arrival to the hospital, she was intubated with a ventilator to help her breath. Tests revealed she had a brain hemorrhage and several lacerations to her head. She was kept in the hospital for 11 days, and was discharged home to bed rest and gradual walking with the help of a physical therapist, nurse and occupational therapist. We have 5 children, all of whom can be hit by the sliding door if the electrical button is pushed on. We now leave that button off, as we fear they will also get hit by the door, as the sensor does not work if something or someone is in the door.

I've noticed that in 2016 at about the time I purchased my van it had a jerking whenever you accelerate after coming to a complete stop or even to just accelerate I took it back to the place I got it they test drive the van while I sat in it with them but even then he stated he didn't feel anything so I took it to a firestone shop explained it to them where he took it for a test drive and he saw and felt what I was feeling and he gave me the information to what the was problem I took it back to the place I purchase the car they stated yes it was the problem they changed it but I don't understand why I'm still having the problem and drive it feels like the engine is about to drop out the hood or the transmission I have this issue and it's becoming annoying while driving. I'm paying for this vehicle and I need to get the problem solved. Sometimes I have to take my foot off the gas peddle and allow the vehicle to stop jerking and bucking before I replace my foot to accelerate which then I have to apply lots of gas just so it don't start jerking again.

The van turns on but it loses speed while driving and it is very hard to make it accelerate once it comes to a stop, thought it was a transmission problem but it wasn't. Now they think it is loss of communication with computer.
