One problem related to transfer case has been reported for the 2012 Nissan Rogue. The most recently reported issues are listed below. Please also check out the statistics and reliability analysis of the 2012 Nissan Rogue based on all problems reported for the 2012 Rogue.
At 49,935 miles, the transfer case and drive shaft (while driving) leaked and needed to be replaced at a cost of $1,514 + car rental for 2 days. The engine and power train are covered by Nissan's warrantee only until 5 year,50,000 miles. As I would believe that this is a Nissan design and manufacturing problem, and that other 2012 Nissan Rogue are having similar problems, I would very much appreciate if the NHTSA would investigate this to determine if a recall is warranted. Thank you.
