Body Problems of Nissan Sentra - part 2

I was pulled over stating my tags were bad and to go to the dealership to obtain new ones. He then inspected my car and I was on my way aftet we discussed the tierod issue and made an appointment I then recorded on my phone the shake from the steering wheel. I later found out the blinking light was the airbag light not the seat belt light and the check engine light was on as well. The car should not have passed inspection. I got in a small fender bender and the insurance is now totaling my car.

Rainy night 55 mph crash. Air bags did not deploy. Wet road, car ran off road, hit a sign post, went down embankment, flipped and rolled over into ditch. Daughter was seriously injured. . . 4 broken lower back vertebrae, 9 broken ribs, numerous pelvic fractures, lacerated spleen and kidney. Seems like these injuries could have been much less severe if the airbags would have deployed.

My vehicle was parked when another car struck the driver's side rear bumper. The entire quarter panel was caved in and the bumper almost knocked off, the tail light shattered as well. The estimated damage is over 3500. 00. This seems highly unsafe as the car is literally plastic, we had know warning nor informed the car was so easily damaged and could potentially take a life or injure a person severely. Since the car was parked when the damage occurred and it was done by a car backing out of the parking lot at a slow rate of speed we feel unsafe in this car now and want Nissan to fix this problem or trade our car for a stable car not a death trap. We live in utah and people drive like psychos.

Rust/corrosion and peeling of paint (delamination) appeared after 3 years on the roof. Car is a white Nissan Sentra 2015 and I filed a complained with Nissan and I was told that its not covered because it was over 3 years even after showing the Nissan warranty booklet document. I was given several options by Nissan, pay $9,000. 00 my share to pay the body paint, $5,000. 00 discount to buy a new car plus 2 years extended warranty. Car has only 30,000 miles on it when I complained July of 2019. I was asked several times to get an estimate for a paint job too. I talked to more than 1 representative during this ordeal and even pleaded with them to just paint the roof part and they said no because its not guaranteed that it will only be the roof that will start peeling. My last conversation with them (kacha, executive) was last year when I gave up because it gave us too much anxiety and grief. This is my son's car who is a first responder and still paying for this car too. We were a Nissan family and always bought 4 brand new Nissan for the past 20 years.

Engine is slipping door handles coming off.

I was involved in a wreck going over 10 miles per hour on the freeway and my air bags did not come out and I feel that is unsafe, though they claimed they fixed the recall at Nissan. I feel as though this car is a danger to my life and others as well. I was in California on the 10 freeway as my boyfriend was driving.

We bought a 2016 Nissan Sentra in March of 2018. I took it in complaining of a whining noise a few months after having it and was told because they don't see or feel anything there is nothing to be done. Now in November the cvt transmission needs replaced. It punches when you go to take off, feels like it is losing power when driving on the freeway, difficult accelerating, jerks while driving, shifts on its own from about 1. 5 rpm up to 3 while driving on the freeway, and Nissan said it is out of warranty because I am over 60,000 miles (my mileage is at about 64,000 miles). It's going to cost $4500 to replace it according to Nissan. The door handle comes off and it has to be pushed back in, the side view mirrors whistle while driving on the freeway.

When opening the door the handle no longer functioned. Upon analysis of the problem, a plastic piece that had allowed the spring to activate had broken and this would not allow the door to open via the handle from the inside of the car. I was however able to open the door from the exterior of the car, rolling down the window to open the car door. After a harsh winter and the power windown swtich being replaced as well as the door lock actuator I was able to use my door properly again. The worse thing is that not even 3 months later I had the same problem happen again, dealt with it for a while, but winter has now come again and I still can not open my door from the inside. I have rigged a wire loop around the pulley system and created a way to open my door from the inside, but I had read multiple blogs that many people have had this problem with the Sentra. I find this to be concerning and feel that Nissan should recall these parts and offer lifetime replacement of the door lock actuator. If I was in an accident and my door was my only exit, would Nissan be paying my family for my death?.

I got into a fender bender hitting my right corner of my bumper against the back left of a corolla and the bumper got knocked off super easily. Previously back into a lamp post and the back bumper fell off easily as well. Doesn't seem very safe to me .

My wife was heading to work about 1750 on June 26th, during a rain storm, she entered the highway on 43 eastbound toward milwaukee out of mukwonago, wisconsin. She was travelling about 60mph in a 70 miles an hour zone; during the storm and hydroplaned on the slick road, due to the fact this downpour had been in the early stages the roads were very slick. She spun off the side of the expressway down the embankment where the car flipped over about 3 times and she ended upside down against a tree, none of the airbags deployed. She was taken to er and was not seriously injured due to having her seatbelt fastened, enduring scrapes, bruises and abrasions. The windows all blew out, but again no airbags dispersed. She was off a week from with extreme soreness in her body and a hairline fracture in her elbow.

I purchased a car from wilson motor company and was told it was only used as a rental by their customers while their car was in the shop. I have had issues with the car and they have fought me on warranties to cover. When I went to a different dealership they pulled the autocheck report to find that the car had been purchased from an auction in CA and is showing a title brand for frame or structural damage record and a possible odometer rollback. The tires are wearing unevenly and are not safe and I have already replaced the brakes out of my pocket. I can't trade the car in due to this report. I was lied to and now I can't get warranty service or able to trade the car in for something else. I cannot get the general manager to return my messages.

There is a clicking noise when stopping and accelaratiing, this clicking sound comes from the front tire area, it started about 8 mos ago and now it is getting worse, I bought the car new. It also has like a whistling noise when driving 65-70 and over. Two issues the clicking noise coming from the front tire area and the whistling noise when driving over 65 mph. I've never have bumped the car over the sideside walk for the clicking noise it just started. I don't know why the car makes the whistling noise at high speed.

Tl-the contact owns a 2017 Nissan Sentra. The contact stated that whenever their driving, the vehicle swerves from side to side. This happened whenever they drove the vehicle and the bumpy ride made the contact car sick. Their power steering went bad and it was very hard for the contact to make turns. The test could not replicate the problems. A master technician test drove the vehicle and ignored the failures and said their was no problem the vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and they sent in the master technician that denied all of the failures. The failure mileage was 11 miles. Jw.

I was not happy with the car I made it clear when I first seen it . I was in two car accidents with two months after the accidents I found out it had been in 2 accidents befre I got it a real lemon the car dealer ran the con man game on me an my family at a time I was stranded and in distress I want my money back and return this deadly car.

It's been falling apart every year no matter what I do to protect it.

Flapping sound on driver side when speeding. My vehicle makes a flapping sound when I speed more than 65 mph. I can hear it on the driver side only. It causes the steering wheel to vibrate. I had the shocks replaced and it still makes the sound.

It was raining really hard about a month ago and I started to experience dripping from the roof of my car on the inside and dripping from the inside of my passenger door. I was sitting in the grocery store parking lot.

Another car hit me in a frontal collision, while waiting at a light and the airbag never came out.

I was coming to a complete stop and the breaks did not stop the car forcing me to hit someone. I always had trouble with the breaks with forced me to change them every so often. This time was tough.

2015 Sentra has a wind noise that is related to interstate speeds and high cross winds. The least the noise will do is sound out in beeps and buzzes louder than polite conversation. At worst it can come as a full on blast of noise like a truck horn or someone suddenly yelling into your right ear while your concentrating on the rush hour traffic and the ever changing situation. No driver should have to put up this level of distraction while driving. My wife has been driving the washington DC metro area roads and beltway for over 40 years. She has never had an at fault accident. She has never gotten a ticket. The driving here is a challenge due to the very high speeds the traffic moves at. My wife won't drive over 70 mph. Basically every one is blowing by her like she's sitting still. Having a random loud burst of noise in your ear is unnerving. Nissan states it's a characteristic of the car!! must be because the versa loaner did it too. With the focus on not having distracted drivers it seems odd a manufacturer would promote this as a feature.

Takata recall I was driving my Nissan Sentra and I hit a deer, my passenger airbag did not go off.

On christmas morning, I went out to the parked car to discover an exploded sunroof . Temperature was unusually mild that day, 75 degrees rather than teens or 20s. Not sure if the explosion was overnight or in the morning. There was no other damage to the vehicle or any downed branches nearby. Glass broke outward, not inward.

Vehicle was involved in an accident, where my car was a total loss. The seat belts on the driver side did not lock once my car was hit by the other vehicle who caused the accident. This caused my brother the driver to go forward. Also the airbag did not deploy when my vehicle was struck. Causing more harm and worse injuries, because there was nothing to keep my brother from going forward. The vehicle was sitting still waiting to turn, when it was struck by a truck that failed to brake and just crashed into the back of my car. The accident took place on a city street .

Following delivery of new 2015 Nissan Sentra sv, leak identified by large amount of water in driver rear footwell after overnight parking in rain. Dealer water test revealed perforation in firewall to be cause of leak. Nissan manufacturer representative was recruited to repair the problem.

Tl-the contact owns a 2015 Nissan Sentra. The contact stated that the trunk of the vehicle would not stay up when prompted. The trunk of the vehicle, when opened, slammed down on the contacts head. The contact stated that the latch of the trunk was extremely sharp. Injuries were sustained. Medical attention was required. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was 300.

The contact owns a 2003 Nissan Sentra. After the vehicle was backed out of the driveway and placed into drive, the vehicle came to an abrupt stop without warning. The contact discovered that the front passenger side wheel strut tower failed and the tire nearly detached from the vehicle. The contact stated that the wheel had excessive rust. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 62,000. Ma 08/13/15.

Approx. 5/26/15 after opening and trying to fuel my car at the gasoline station I noticed the fuel filler tube was loose. This station (USA gasoline) had recently installed new nozzles on the gas pumps. Due to the loose filler tube on my car, I had to drive to an arco station to complete the fueling of my car. On 6/10/15 during normal maintenance (oil change, check fluids, etc) I asked the shop to repair the loose fuel filler tube. They refused, saying I had to have the repair completed at an authorized Nissan dealer. I drove to the Nissan shop, they said I had to call Nissan north America for authorization. I never received a recall or any notice about fuel delivery problems, my Nissan warranty expired 3/25/15. Shouldn't fuel systems be covered under some type of safety designation? my Nissan Sentra 2009 has less than 30,000 miles on odometer, shouldn't fuel systems problems be considered a defect in design or workmanship?.

My vehicle was in a car accident 4-2-2015. Mercury insurance lisa openshaw failed to investigate the underbody of the car in the rear. Shocks were bent inwards in the rear and never repaired by Mercury. I had the shocks repaired. Along with the estimates of repair lisa openshaw threatened me by stating that Mercury paid for repairs twice duplicating labor on same matters. She tried to say the damages on the inside did not matter and damages on the outside was all that mattered. She also tried to violate the law to say I could not use my own repair facilities. The damages total enough to total the car and my vehicle was placed at risk compromising my safety while daily driving. I sent a complaint regarding the negligence of my car not being rightfully totaled. Attached are all documents for review. I have cc'd ricardo lara , the California insurance commissioner regarding this matter asking that he respond to me ASAP regarding the serious urgency of the smatter since it has been literally 5 years. According to the recent letter by commissioner ricardo lara, all claims are to be paid to include car damages with no dishonesty and negligence. I am requesting that my car be totaled in full as at the time of the car accident , the value was $ 9500 plus tax and license for replacement value. Once the car is totaled, Mercury insurance may update state farm insurance, the defendant's insurance company.

My car was involved in a rear end accident April 2, 2015 while stopped at red stop arrow light and a front end accident 10-20-2015 while stopped in left turning lane and no airbags deployed. Saefty issue --airbags should have deployed.

I purchase used car from 2012 I never expect to have any car problem for at least 4 yrs, but that was not my case in 5 month of having the car it started to give me problems. The fist problem is that I had a leaking that was coming from the sun roof and the top light. I was told that the way is made it had to drain tube and they get clog. I was also told not to park my car under tree. Uh that's is kind of hard there's a lot trees in the country. I had to change the battery in about 3 months. The car when I turn it off the motor was still running. Few day after the my car would not start not even manually. I told that the ignition was not working and the anti theft system lock therefore I was not able to turn the car on. I also saw that the metal that is under the stering wheel was rusty from the leak. I research the recalls, but was not able to find any on this year. However I found the previous year had a recall and was the same issues I'm having.

Granddaughter had head on accident which was not her fault due to other car pulling out in front of her. . She was hurt and in pain took her to hospital . . Worst part was that my air air bag did not deploy at all . Where is my recall letter . That could have been me and at 72years old I could have been hurt worse . I have two nessans. Do the seat belts work on my rough nessan 2013 . The 2011 Sentra that was in accident didnt n0w I am worried about the rough will my air bags deploy . Love my nesans but I am scared the same could happen to me if I get into an accident . My granddaughter is very precious to me . Resolve this problem or I will never buy an other nesan.

This is the third (3) time it happen, no breakes going down my steep driveway. I live in a neighaborhood with many hills and it has come to my attention the breakes do not function properly going down a steep hill. My speed was no more than 4mph when break failure.
