The contact owns a 2014 Nissan Sentra. The contact stated that the front driver side window regulator motor failed to work, which prevented the window from rolling up. The contact was unable to get the window to roll up and had to use duct tape as well as other adjustments to secure the window during inclement weather. The vehicle was to be taken to a dealer for inspection and diagnostic testing. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was not available.

The contact owns a 2006 Nissan Sentra. While driving 15 mph, the gear shift indicator would not shift into second gear. The contact was unable to shift into reverse and heard a grinding noise when shifting. The dealer stated that the shifter was too tight and they loosened the shifter on two occasions; however, the failure continued. The dealer stated that the transmission shifter caused the failure. As of December 10, 2007, the dealer had not repaired the vehicle. The failure mileage was 93 and current mileage was 12,998. Updated 01-14-08. The consumer stated she heard a cracking noise coming from under the hood, the right rear tire had a leak, the window regulator was replaced, the shift knob was screwed on too far which was making it difficult for the consumer to shift gears. Both front power window regulators failed at the exact same time on the exact same day. The car is a 2002 Nissan Sentra with only 55000 miles. I am the third person in my family to have this happen with their 2002 Nissan. I contacted Nissan and nothing was done to fix the problem, I was told that they couldnt help my situation because there was no recall on the part.
Nissan Sentra 2002 with less then 28000 ml has leaking engine head gasket and radiator and broken steering rack and pinion and steering power assist. Car was purchased new and never had an accident. Car is dangerous to drive - steering does not work. Nissan sold me a lemon car and refuses to repair it.

While driving the vehicle experienced windshield wiper failure, affecting visibility and causing a frontal accident. The driver's and passenger's air bags did not deploy, which did not protect the occupants in this accident. Also the driver and passenger were seatbelted, but the shoulder belt did not lock up, causing the occupant to hit the windshield and sustain injuries. Prior to accident, had problems with the brakes, which had been replaced 4 times, and with the automatic window going off track. . Et.

Consumer complaint regarding an incident with 2007 Nissan Sentra automatic windows closing on consumer causing amputation. Complaint submitted by lawyer on behalf of client. The consumer was leaning on the open door when the driver began closing the window in preparation for leaving. According to the lawyer, there are regulations for one-touch operated windows in the federal motors vehicle safety standard no 118 section 5: while closing the window, partition, or roof panel it must reverse direction before contacting, or before exerting a squeezing force of 100 newtons or more on a semi-rigid rod from 4 mm to 200 mm in diameter that has the force-deflection ratio described in section 5 and that is placed through the window, partition or roof panel system opening at any location.

2000 Nissan Sentra with multiple problems. Consumer states that she would like compensation for all the money she has had to put out for repairs. Such as new af meter, replaced mass air flow, replaced battery, replaced clutch twice due to an oil leak/flywheel and more. The consumer stated the entire electrical system failed, a new trunk lock was needed, the rear engine seal was leaking oil on the clutch. The engine light illuminated and the drivers side window was inoperative. The regulator and radiator were replaced.
