I bought a brand new 2025 Nissan Sentra sv premium which included 17" wheels (only found on the sv premium package) with michelin primacy a/s size 215/50 r17 (original equipment). I began noticing some safety issues while driving straight out of the dealership. While driving on diamond ground concrete roads (rain grooved roads) on interstate highways, the vehicle wobbles uncontrollable, to the point that I feel that I am about to lose control of the vehicle. I have to bring the vehicle to an unsafe low speed to control the vehicle. It seems like if the tread pattern from the tires locks into the grooves on the roads, and causes each tire to wobble the car wildly in different directions, which is absolutely terrifying at high speeds. I took the car back to the dealership with about 500 miles; they determined that the issue was rather from the tires and not from the vehicle.
Driving on the freeway an car just couldn't pull it literally stopped had to pullover in I was strained for hours.

Was driving home from work which is no longer than a 5 minute drive. It was heavy rain outside. About 2 minutes from my home, my low tire light went on. Very soon after my tire went flat. I pulled to the curb in front of my home. The tire rolled off my car and the rim hit the ground, destroying the rim. My Sentra is a 2015 with 9000 miles on it, well maintained. How does this happen. Should this be a warranty item or recall? repairs fro rim and tire came to $600. 00.

I have a 2007 Sentra 2. 0s, with brand new goodyear assurance tripletred tires, that I bought new from Nissan in brooklyn park, mn. Its cold and icy here in the winters! I started noticing a lot of swaying and loudness in the rear on bumpy roads and ice/snow. After roughly 5000 miles of driving on new tires all around, my rear tires decreased significantly to 6/32s, brand new is 11/32s, and when I spoke to the dealership about this issue, they had no comment. When I spoke to discount tires about the 80k warranty on the goodyear tires, they said they would replace them but were very confused about how they got bald so quick at only 5k miles. I cannot drive this in the winter but its suppose to save me gas, but it doesn't. My little Acura has better gas mileage. Obviously when I took it into the dealership, they had no clue what the issue was and even when I said, "I have read a lot on rear tire alignment issues with my Nissan and I want answers from you", they still look at me like they have no idea what I am talking about. Until I showed them what I printed off the internet, they told me they are not aware of the situations around the globe and if I wanted to fix my Sentra it's not covered under warranty.

Was washing my car and notice that all 4 tires have cracks all the way around the tire. I have a 2007 Nissan Sentra with only 12,000 miles, I bought the car new in Dec. 2006. I went to Nissan dealer, they said it is just dry rot, but it nothing they can do eventually I'll need new tires. Went to firestone/bridgestone and they seem unconcern, just that it is the environment in which we live with the cold then heat which dry the tires out. My concern is I only had these tires just a little over 2 years and not 4 or 5 the life time of these tires, they should no be cracking like this. Please look into this matter, I feel that have been sold a car with bad tires.
We are experiencing severe rear tire wear. Dealership refused to acknowledge problem until the third visit when we went with handful of testimonials( printed from car review sites on internet) from other people experiencing this same problem with their Nissan 2007-2008 Sentra's. On our third visit dealership manager said he would call Nissan corp. And personally speak to regional manager on our behalf. We also called Nissan corp. And filed a complaint on 06/17/08. Rm called us on 6/18/08 and left message sidestepping rear end issue by stating to us that tires are not under warranty by Nissan. ??. We returned call to regional manager telling her that tires at this time are not the issue, it is a defective rear end, suspension or engineering. We just want the problem corrected.
With 12000 km on my 08 Sentra was informed my rear tires needed to be replaced. After much fighting with my service manager, dealership manager, and dealership owner they agreed to inspect the components of the rear suspension and was informed that it was out of alignment, and they could not bring it to within spec. The fix was a total rear suspension replacement. . . I now have a front strut bearing gone and have been waiting 2 months for parts. . . With my front end alignment out because of this, and no word on part arrival.
I had to replace bridgestone turanza el 400 tires with only 22k miles on them. We kept the tires rotated and balanced, but still had problems with air loss. We have a 2008 Nissan Sentra that was purchased new in 12/2007. We started having problems with those tires within a few months. The tires probably had about 3000 miles on them at the time it started. At first we thought it was just a faulty sensor, but found out otherwise. The car rode very rough and the tires were always loud. The dealer blamed it on a nail, did a cheap patch job and then later denied they patched it and refused to replace the tire. The sensors are worthless too. The low tire light would come on and the car would start bouncing around and we realized it was time again. Finally after 1 1/2 years of problems and taking it to the dealer we finally had enough and replaced the tires at a tire store. Anyone with these tires should do a google search of "bridgestone turanza problems" and "bridgestone turanza el400 complaints". I have seen complaints from Toyota, BMW, mercedes, Honda and Nissan owners about these tires. There is a problem. There are numerous complaints on the internet about these tires. Our problem started within 3 months of buying the car.
Tires are incompatible with winter weather driving. Car slides and drifts making it unable to safely handle, and dangerous as vehicles constantly attempt to pass . This is unacceptable for a six month old car.
On 10/04/07 I bought a lemans champion hr bl 195/690r15 88h tire from firestone complete auto care buena park. On 11/1107 I notice the tire was flat I check the tire for any hole or tear's I could not find any. The pressure of the tire before I refilled it was 19 psi after wards it was at 31. 8 psi. I check the tire pressure 10 day later on 11/21/07 it was at 25 psi. I took it back to the store to be replaced. I told them what was going on they ran some test and could not find anything wrong so they did not replace the tire. I believe there is a defect in this tire.

As my wife and I traveled in the state of florida on 5-28-2007, my rear tire came apart causing my vehicle to spin 360 degrees and causing damage to my vehicle due to the incident. Thank god, the traffic surrounding my car was not affected by my spinning. The damage to the car was temporarily secured by the highway road ranger and I was required to drive at very low speed on the highway to reach my destination.
After purchasing a Nissan Sentra gxe 2002 -- about 1 month later the service engine light came on and I had to pay almost 300 dollars to replace the radiator thermostat--of course this repair and the next was not covered by the warranty that I purchased--after 5 months both engine belts had to be replaced--another 175 bucks. Now I hear a suspicious creaking from the rear end--I can't wait to find out what that is. Oh--I almost forgot--one day after taking the car home I had to repair a rear tire and the paint is peeling and fading.

I am writing to your department with respect to the firestone tire recall. From what I gather the recall has been expanded to include other models of firestone tires not originally included in the initial recall. Therefore, I wanted to provide you with the following information on my situation to determine if I would qualify for recall relief. VIN # 3n1ab51d62l701728, 2002 Nissan Sentra ser, firestone firehawk gta02 tires, p195/55r16 86h and labeled made in mexico. There was no plant number listed on the inside wall of the tire. Please let me know if I have any claims under these circumstances, thanks!.
My daughter was driving at the speed limit on highway 94 in san diego, when the rear right tire exploded at approximately 1:45 p. M. The blowout caused extensive damage to the right side door, rear right panel and rear bumper. The car went into a 360 spin in the fast lane and median of the freeway. The car was taken to a&c paint and body at 7083 broadway, lemon grove, CA at the request of my daughter's insurance agency - topa insurance. The obvious damage was repaired. However after picking the car up, my daughter noticed a shimy in the front end of the car. There is some sort of apparent damage to the front end that was not detected by the body shop. Additionally, the day after picking the car up she noticed that the rear left tire is also badly damaged, probably from the car spinning during the accident. The old tire was completely shreaded, so there is no old part available for inspection. I had her park the car until we can contact her insurance company to report the previously undetected damages. My daughter was helped by a san diego county sheriff, but he did not write any type of incident report. He only asked if anyone was injured and if there was any property damage. Since neither happened, he did not make a report. My daughter contacted her insurance company immediately. A&c paint and body sent a tow truck to her apartment three days later and towed it to their facility, where they did the repairs I have already described.

The original tires shreaded on the inside,& the front end had to be realligned. I noted that their have been 3 other complaints of same type reported to you. This seems to be a problem that other are having. Unlike other cars I have owned this car gave no indication that the allignment was failing, untill the tire was completely shreaded on the inside and was going flat. Is Nissan doing anything to correct this problem?.
